12 year old son and he depowered everyone 12 years ago. I'm guessing the imputes for his actions was his wife (probably Babs) was killed in a meta related event.

Yeah the story doesn't seem like the most original thing in the world, but if done well, it could be really good. As well, there has never really been this kind of story with Dick Grayson; he's always pretty much been a 100% good guy with no moral questionability.

I remember liking Higgins' N52 Nightwing run (despite the story being jerked around by external stories) so, I'll definitely check this out. It's also just cool that DC is giving NW an Elsewords mini, not many characters get the kind of treatment (especially nowadays)

@justiceteen: That's true, but tragedy pushing a character to become a hero has become one of the most tired and cliched tropes in superhero fiction. Not every hero has to have a batman-esk origin story to explain why they fight. Sometimes it is good to see a hero fight just because they decide it is the right thing to do with their powers given to them.

Wouldn't it be more interesting if Clark and Lois instill great values and responsibilities into their son and that is just the reason he decides to be a hero?

Wouldn't it be different if we had a hero who didn't need to brood about some trauma in his past to build pathos?

If DC is going forwards with teaming up Jon and Damian, I would actually like it if they really pushed them as foils for each other. Jon has a relatively normal family with two loving parents while Damian has his dad and a psycho mother who had him killed.

I can't say I was sad when new52 Lois died. She really hadn't done anything in these last 5 years (other than crappy Lobdell psychic Lois) of note. However I have faith that pre52/rebirth Lois will once again be an interesting and important character to Superman stories in the future.

On the the article, does this mean that new52 Lois is gone for good? If so, it really seems that DC has taken the scorched earth tactic with new52 Superman. Jimmy better be looking over his shoulder.
