Love the intro for tonight's episode of Big Bang Theory. It was hilarious!

I feel like I posted in a similar thread like this, but here goes. I was able to meet Jerry Robinson last year and I also met James Arnold Taylor and Tom Kane at Celebration V (they're the voice actors for Obi-Wan and Yoda from the cgi Clone Wars series, respectively). About 200 of us were camped out about 12 hours before the main event with Jon Stewart and Lucas and they came out, saw us camped out, and chilled out with us for a bit. They signed our passes and did some voice acting too, which was awesome! They really made those few days tons of fun.

@chalkshark: Sounds like the way to do things. I'll have to give that a shot as I only re-read issues if I really like 'em or am updating/upgrading my books and happen to stumble across an issue that brings up good memories. Nice to hear you've really helped out your LCS too.

I could post a pic of the holy grail of my collection, or I could not. Hmm.

Why the hell wouldn't you? Lol.

I'm at around 40 but I'm adding on about 20 more with the updates list for August.

@chalkshark: How do you remember everything's that goes on? Do you get a subscriber discount?

Edit: Just added on five or so this week, three were from Image and are new releases.

It depends on the death.

Sometimes they're genius, other times... Fear Itself.

Sad, but true. The garbage that's being done with Sabretooth's return is another modern reminder of how not to do a death and subsequent return.

I'm not an active Superman fan but I have mad respect for him. To me, one of the best quotes about Superman can be found in Hush, "Even more than Kryptonite, he's got one big weakness. Deep down, Clark's essentially a good person..." I love that he's a moral compass and uncompromising in his values. When he showed up in Batman: Noel he was literally glowing with goodness and warmth; it was an amazing and inspired appearance. The question is, do these traits shine through in his current books? Let's see his glowing example shine through so that others can desire to be like him. I saw a lot of heart felt, passionate defenses for Superman but few addressed how their points are being illustrated, if at all, in the current books. If they haven't, then things have derailed and need to get back on track to do the Man of Steel and his fans some justice, just like G-Man said. In this increasingly dark and gritty world some light is welcome, but shouldn't it shine at its brightest so it can do the most good?

@DougCL: Yeah it was pretty solid. I added it to my pull the next day.
