Hey Viners, I have a question about Azzarello's run on WW. I haven't read any of it myself, but I hear it's quite heavy on the mythological stuff. My question is: are there are any specific scenes in the run that were directly pulled from myth? Not just based on, but actual re-telling of established myth (an example would be a scene of Medusa getting beheaded, or Hades kidnapping Persephone).
I actually need it for a comparative essay, so if I can't find any good scenes my professor will make me look for another source. (Plus I need an excuse to spend money on Wonder Woman.) Please help :3
Going against the grain here, but this just sounds boring and uninspired to me.
Plus this article is quite incoherent.
I fell in love with Remender after Uncanny X-Force, but ever since the relaunch, I've heard poor reports about his Marvel work. This plotline isn't doing much to help...
So I've been interested in the Image series Elephantmen for a while now, mainly because of previews I've seen. To anyone who's read it: how good is it? There's an ongoing Comixology sale of the first 50 issues right now, so I need advice quick.
