Yeah, I've felt the same. Some of the stuff he hits in the money, others not so much. I don't hate the guys stuff, but i just don't think he's got that spark that some writers do in certain books. Everyone has their strengths when it comes to writing. I'll be glad if he's just a guest on action, cuz i don't like his superman run, and i kinda want a new team for Teen Titans. Maybe I'm just spoiled. Lol.
I personally do not mind Lobdell's stories. They're not bad at all, just not bombastic when they need to be. Superman has been a subpar book about an over par character, not good. If Scott gets some fine tuning, maybe we'll have a good year.
Wouldn't it have been interesting if Batman Nearly killed Joker, and Damian stops him? Batman is always trying to stop Damian from killing, so by this act, their relationship has gone full circle. That would be cool.
I'm sure the characters of the Ravagers will stick around in Young Justice books. From what i hear, DC is adding a lot more Young Justice books. Which is awesome!
I dropped this title last issue, I'm just not interested anymore. Warblade is annoying as heck, Rose isn't being developed, and the Ravagers are just constantly whining about being killers and what not. Wake me when the story takes a turn for the better. Maybe some more Superboy involvement.
