  • Has fun, has adventure, and has consequence.

  • Thor is still my fave franchise of the bunch.

  • A fantastic street-level story. Murdock is done justice and Wilson Fisk is one of the MCU's best creations. Season 2 reinforces how terrific a show this is, with the best live-action version of The Punisher and a relevant and griping broken love story between Matt and Elektra.

  • Just a helluva fun time.

  • With the nostalgia, with Evans' performance, with the connection between Steve and Peggy, this just hits so many right notes.

  • In the end, the film feels like it spends perhaps too much time with Tony Stark in an effort to give both sides fair weight. The world-building is a bit overwhelming in a way not seen since 'Iron Man 2,' and much as I enjoyed the hell out of him, Spider-Man's story feels too shoehorned in here. That said, the overall story is strong, character-driven, and told nobly. And when the heroes get to fighting, it really is a lot of fun.

  • The pilot episode is one of the best things Marvel has produced, and the series as a whole is outstanding. It stumbles a bit in the latter third of the season, and the examination of Kilgrave's motivation slightly diminishes what is otherwise another complex villain. The lived-in feel of these characters makes this a true delight.

  • One of the strongest origins, and a movie that gets better the more you think about it. The visuals are fantastic, but it's the ways in which every sticks to character, even as the evolve, that really makes the movie work.

  • Even with inconsistency, I enjoy the hell out of these characters and this storyline.

  • The second half drags the series down a notch, but it's such a strong, fun, relevant series with a terrifically likable lead.

  • RDJ just brings everything to life here.

  • This drops down in preference for me because it felt a bit too Whedon-kitschy to me at points throughout the movie. It's still a fun movie and an impressive achievement. I enjoyed it but not as much as other movies.

  • A relatively enjoyable movie. Something originally felt off the entire time. Like making a meal and forgetting one spice that would truly make the flavor. On rewatch, enjoyed the movie much more.

  • The tone is a bit scattered and the action is, by turns, thrilling, entertaining, and overwhelmingly suffocating. Some of Whedon's worst tendencies with character and dialogue are on full display. Still, lots to like.

  • Glad to have stuck with it since the beginning and past the dodgy first season. The focus on characters definitely overcomes the pitfalls of having to rely on the MCU films.

  • Huge fan of Peggy Carter and was really looking forward to this series. It gets stronger as it goes, but it was a bit underwhelming for me overall.

  • Underrated and too often forgotten. It's not a perfect movie and I would love to see the version that Norton and Leterrier wanted to release, but it's a solid film that offers something a bit more populist with the character than the non-MCU 2003 film provided.

  • I appreciated the hell out of the Mandarin reveal, appreciated the ballsiness behind it ... and hated it all at the same time. I couldn't escape the feeling that this was somewhat of a mess while watching it all unfold.

  • An even bigger mess and disappointment. Individual cast members are all great, but this thing falls apart in story.
