How can anyone go wrong with Scalped It is IMO one of the best series out now and also of all time. Its unfortunate that Jason Arron does not do more long form creator owned (although I don't think that it is 100% owned by him because its from Vertigo). He is just one of those writers who IMO should only write his own stuff, because his work at Marvel has been ok at best, with early Wolverine and the X-men being the only highlight. Im not one of those people who thinks indi writers should only write there own stuff, I think that writers like Brubaker, Hickman, and Remender do just as good of work for the big two as they do with there own stuff. But for me Arrons Marvel work has just fell flat, that being said I am still looking forward to his Thor book because if he can give us literally half of what he gave us with Scalped it will be amazing.

I could care less about line ups and costumes, but what does is fraction. he is really hit or miss with me, for instance his Iron Man and Iron fist both have been great, but not so much defenders, UXM, and Thor. IMO his problem is not his big out there ideas, because i really like those types of stories, it is that they are not grounded at all. For example Hickman's Manhattan projects is really out there, but it is still grounded

Am I the only person that thinks waids run on DD is good, but not the best thing ever and think Bendis's run was way better.

His character interactions are great, but that is about all I get from his writing, That is why My favorite x book by far is UXF because remender also has an interesting ongoing plots and character arcs.

All great picks, and I agree that the New Deadwardians is the best new Vertigo book. Its a shame that it is not an ongoing.

Before the reboot I was all indi and Marvel and if it was not for the reboot i would not have given DC a shot. While I understand all the arguments being made against the reboot, I also know that the only thing that matters to DC and should matter is sales, because DC is ruing a business not a fan service. Thats all that really needs to be said because what ever excuse or criticism you have against the reboot does not and should not matter to DC because they don't read reviews lessen to podcast or read forums when deciding whether or not to cancel of start a book. Now I just read big 2 books for what they are and save the bulk of my enjoyment for indi books that are more often than not of a higher quality than big 2 books.

I disagree Cullen Bun Is an excellent writer and this issue has been better than than 75% of Arrons run and much better than his horrible last are. And i cant believe I you said you will jump back on when Jeph Loeb comes on.

Damian with morals himself, who would have thunk it? This book was a much larger treat then expected after the last page of the last previous issue. Everyone keeps raving about Snyders Batman, and it deserves it, but this series has been going head-to-head with it if you ask me. I think this story will be remembered in the future. Funny thing tho. Sure doesn't seem like it's even been remotely touched by the revamp.

I agree but I will even go further and say that now i look forward to this more than I do Batman
