Just like manyof you, I have been waiting for Batman v Superman for not only three years, but since I was a child. I saw the film this Sunday at the New York premiere event and I've been holding off my review until now.

First off, I want to say that I have a huge respect for film critics and movie reviewers. But I am telling you all right now, they have no right to bash this film before the majority of the fans have the opportunity to see it. I say this because this is another prime example of a film that is butchered by the critics and viewed completely differently by the General movie going audience.

Fellow comic book fans... This movie is good. No, this movie is fantastic. I not only had a fun time watching this film, but I gained a new hope for the DCEU. I say this because I truly believe this film deserves a huge financial success and I don't want reviewers to ruin that. The performances are exceptional and the story is phenomenal. I came out of the theater without a single complaint. Now, will all of you have the same reaction as me? Of course not. All I'm asking is that ALL of you take the time to see this movie and experience the hard work that was put into it.

Critics and Reviewers exist to inform audiences whether or not a movie is worth seeing. And I'm not here to do that, I'm here to tell you to judge it yourself. Don't take the word of these critics, because quite frankly, the majority of them have a stigma for comic book movies in the first place. We have seen time and time again the downfall of a film solely from the critics' reviews. Look at all the pre existing fan reactions on Twitter. Everyone came out of the theater in love with the film. However, just as I told you not to take critic's opinions as absolute, you don't have to take those Twitter reactions as cold hard fact either.

I want to see this film succeed. I want you as an audience to go into the theater with an open mind and without any pre existing opinions. Because your opinion will be vastly different than anyone else.

@atk9200: i thought the same thing initially, but then I realized something. Without sticking to continuity with an iron fist, better stories from better writers can shine through. Yeah it gets annoying not knowing which story arc comes before which, but this way the writers aren't limited to a strict template. They're not ruining the DC Universe, in my opinion, they're branching out

@nathaniel_christopher: Well I guess I missed the memo. Why is it that he can't interface with them? He seems to me to be a perfect candidate? If it has to do with "anger" then why is it most of the current Green Lanterns can use the rings when they clearly have some anger issues

My strong opinion would be to start with Batman #1 (New 52). The New 52 restarted the whole universe so everything that happened before it ceased to exist (except for some significant events: Bane broke Batman's back, Joker killed Jason Jodd, Joker shot Barbra Gordon, etc). So if you're new to this world and you're concerned about reading order.... just start with the New 52.The New 52 was created for new readers anyway, because quite frankly, there's too much history for anyone to catch up on for previous story arcs.

@entropy_aegis: yeah Geoff wants to keep it so only the current ring bearers are worthy. And I agree about Joker, I just love the idea that Bruce knows his identity but will end up forgetting cuz that will drive him insane

@justthatkid: it can't be Joe Chill because Joker used Joe Chill in Endgame to mess with Bruce. Alfred obviously not, cuz Joker did some pretty bad stuff to Alfred directly in Endgame. It has to be someone we've met in the past... But WHO????

@theparadox: Bat God cuz Bat God has knowledge of all the universe, and Doom God isn't Omniscent (all knowing), he's just Omnipitent (all powerful). Doom God needed Dr. Strange to help managing his Battleworld bcuz he lacked in that area. So if Bat God has all the knowledge, his prep would win.

Two REALLY important things are revealed for Batman in this issue of Justice League that MUST be discussed.... SPOILERS

#1: Green Lantern says "Batman can barely interface with a power ring"...... Excuse me.... What? He's probably the BEST person to use those rings! Come on Geoff Johns

#2: Now that he's on Metron's chair, he asked the million dollar question.... "What is the Joker's true name" and he got an answer! We should probably talk about his response (which went like this: "No. That's not possible." Is he shocked? Does he know that person? Did the chair give him an answer at all? What's going on guys?!
