New Skellbrieg
"Beyond space, beyond time, and beyond reason, there is a place beyond Hell..."
Klovis' tampering with the natural order soon grew too much for Victor to mentally handle. He wanted Klovis gone, but the vampire lord refused and began a quick and bloody civil war that expelled Victor from Paradise. With his own diabolical grip on the reigns, Klovis set about changing Paradise into his vision of a new kingdom. He ripped open South America's heartland, creating a fissure in the Earth called the Valley of Death. He gathered every corpse on the planet here in order to conduct his twisted research. For those undead sea creatures who slumped down into the Valley, Klovis constructed artificial legs for them to walk around upon. Ancient dinosaur skeletons were refurbished with flesh grafted from "willing" victims around the Valley, making them able to run and fight just as well as they had done so in the distant past.
Klovis began experimenting on the human population in and around the Valley. Chemicals and mosquitoes injected with various diseases were all dumped across the Valley's borders, wreaking untold havoc on the people there. Paradise had truly become a Hell on Earth. However, Klovis would not stop there. He began to create his most devious monster yet in the space above Earth's atmosphere. Using his necromantic powers, he resurrected the long-lost planet Vulcan from the solar system's darkest histories. It came to life, quite literally, and allowed Klovis to migrate to its surface to conduct whatever experiments he needed to. Vulcan was once a classification of planet known as a 'Hellstar,' which meant that it fed on other planets and satellites. It had drifted long ago into the Milky Way Galaxy, bringing with it the corpses of untold amounts of planets and species in its gullet. Once it died near Earth, those corpses remained intact. Klovis had the means by which he could resurrect Skellbrieg once and for all.
Making a portal between Hellstar Vulcan and the Valley of Death, Klovis began to work on his most terrifying plot yet...
Back in the days of Klovis' reign over Skellbrieg, he found the secret to immortality by becoming a vampire. He surrounded himself with his most trusted generals, all of whom he turned into vampires. They became known as the Blood Knights and with them, Klovis almost conquered the world.
Now, the original Blood Knights reside solely in Klovis' memory. He has attempted to resurrect the order within Paradise and has succeeded in making some of the most powerful vampires ever to walk the Earth. Some of them are his students. Some are his own teammates. Others have been forced against their will. But one thing remains true about the Blood Knights, they have surrendered both body and soul to join the elite knightly order and given Klovis to the key to their very universal essence in exchange for unimaginable power.
They are already formidable alone, but together they make for an unstoppable force.

The Divine Orders of Paradise, Chamber Militant of the Blood Knights
Those who join the ranks of the Order of the Divine Question are typically those who have despaired over questions such as life, purpose, and death. They have sought these answers from Klovis, who promised them answers if they swore their souls to the protection and security of Paradise. Making a deal with the devil, however, hardly ever turns out for the better and the Order of the Divine Question is therefore comprised of extremists who would do anything and everything to ensure the survival of Paradise as an independent power. They are among the most zealous fighters available to Victor and are never known to retreat from any battlefield.
Anger is a universal fuel for humanity's suffering. Klovis realized this very early in his life and as he progressed into forming an alliance with Victor and Paradise, he abused the knowledge of anger to surround Paradise with the Order of the Divine Wrath. These soldiers are almost always the first ones into battle and often the last ones out. They are renowned for favoring close combat over all other forms of warfare. Strewn among their ranks are some of the most veteran warriors of the Divine Orders of Paradise, soldiers who have seen combat alongside Klovis for over 100 years thanks to small samples of their vampire lord's blood. As such, it is not uncommon for some of the Blood Knights to have roots in the Order of the Divine Wrath. They are a proud warrior culture, strongly independent, yet brutally loyal to Klovis and to Victor.
Renowned for their stealth tactics, the Order of the Divine Freedom is comprised of sexual deviants who have flocked to Klovis in hopes of finding a higher release for their depraved fetishes. In exchange for their immortal souls, Klovis granted them a place in Paradise where their perverted urges have been completely rewired so that pain is the ultimate ecstasy to them. Knights from the ranks of the Order of the Divine Freedom are therefore immune to fear of death, casting their ranks upon the foe with reckless ferocity in hopes that the next mortal wound will grant them the next level of satisfaction.
The most mysterious of the Divine Orders, the Order of the Divine Truth is comprised of those individuals who have sought knowledge from Klovis. True to the other orders, they were given what they asked for in exchange for their immortal souls. The Order of the Divine Truth is a fraternity of accomplished warrior-magi who have studied under the necromancers of Klovis' personal entourage as well as some of the more arcane Blood Knights living in Paradise. Though their powers pale in comparison to these much more learned and sophisticated sorcerers, the true power of the Order of the Divine Truth is in their vast numbers. The more of them there are in one place, the more potent their magic output is.
The Divine Orders first appeared in Skellbrieg during Klovis' reign over the region in the 1500s. Their members were drawn from neighboring countries as either tribute to Klovis or when he decided to conquer them. Though the human members were slaughtered after Klovis' defeat in England, the vampires who served as officers within the Divine Orders survived and continued to follow Klovis throughout his life up until his imprisonment following the second World War. Taking no chances, the sorcerers who imprisoned Klovis also hunted down and exterminated those vampires who remained. Yet, for all the efforts of the world of magic, the world of technology proved more curious than insightful. Genesis (later Victor Frenzy) awakened Klovis in 1962, thereby reviving the dream of the Divine Orders within the vampire lord.
Klovis set about to work surrounding himself with loyal followers. In fact, the first pilgrims to Paradise were large groups of people whom Klovis had either hypnotized or convinced to join the ranks of the Divine Orders. With such a large influx of immigrants, many more thousands arrived on the shores of Paradise. Victor accomplished his first step into creating an empire while Klovis accomplished his own first step into resurrecting the Divine Orders. Yet, while he had many thousands at his command, he still needed more. In order to do so, Klovis traveled the world for a year in search of the charred remnants of his vampire brethren thought long ago destroyed by the decaying magicians of the Old World. He brought four of these corpses back to Paradise. Thus, the four legions of the Divine Orders were united in a pyramid command system with Klovis at its peak.
As Paradise slowly grew throughout the 70s, 80s, 90s, and even into the new millennium, Klovis continued to draw people into the Divine Orders by use of dark magic and even by invading the dreams of the living. Only recently has the vampire lord been able to expand exponentially thanks to Victor's charismatic gravitational pull attracting countless thousands of immigrants to Paradise. Now operating in a small number of millions, the Divine Orders are the enigmatic face of Paradise, an army of zealots dedicated to creating a new world at the behest of their diabolical masters.
