After watching X-Men Apocalypse tonight I kinda got the feeling that they were holding back on Apocalypse himself. I did really like the movie and the new actors and actresses I think are really well cast for their roles, but Apocalypse, for a character of his calibre was not depicted as threatening as he could have been...do you think he will be returning later on?

Also is it just me or was this movie originally called Age of Apocalypse? Do you think that changing the title might be a hint on things to come and that we will see the apocalyptic future from the comics in a later movie?

Hey guys,

First I wanted to thank you for the great work you are doing. Being that I live in Austria where not as many people are reading comics, your podcast and the site in general is an awesome opportunity to exchange thoughts about comics for me.

So since Supergirl is moving to the CW for the next season I was wondering if this means National City is going to be somehow transported to the Arrow/Flash-verse or the Earths might somehow be merged?

Also this got me wondering about the rumored Crisis on Infinite Earths event of the DC movie and TV show multiverse that might be happening in the coming years. Since the TV universes and the movies are so different in tone and the worlds in general how could you see something like this happening, and which universe do you think would be scrapped in the process? How do you think they would handle the situation that there are multiple actors for some of the characters?

Thanks again for the awesome work you are doing and your answer!

Clemens

I don't totally agree with mat that the show seems to have found its footing, but I think they are at least a step closer to getting there. The tone of a hopeless situation for gotham altogether with the penguin running gotham, harvey bartending and seemingly broken and Jim doing traffic duty was a good way to show how things have turned out in between the seasons.

Also: How amazing was "Just a Perfect Day" at the beginning of the episode. Kind of like in this week's Fear TWD episode it immediately put me in the right mood for the episode!

This episode seemed like a good way to kick off this season and steer the show in the right direction. Keep it up this way and I will learn to like Gotham again.

Also: I was really surprised about this kind of anticlimactic way to kill off Sionis beeing that I think he would have made a good fit to the show's iteration of the Gotham underground scene But I like that they seem to start going away from the model of just playing it safe by reusing old Batman villains and aren't afraid to off some well known characters if it helps the story

While I really enjoyed the show so far, there is one thing that really bums me out...it seems like they kinda allready know about the whole"everybody is infected"-thing...How are they going to explain that this would be a huge reveal for team rick? I mean, I get that the military is cutting off all communications, but some of them must have noticed similar things happening.

That is something that wasn't really explained in the comics as well, but kirkman kinda got away with it by just not going further into the outbreak story.

but because the tv twd-universe chose to put more focus on the outbreak they have to come up with an explanation for this.

when I saw that the release dates for this season were only for 6 episodes I thought they were going to do a mid-season brake while the main show is on...why are they only doing 6 episodes...it was kind of obvious that this show would be a success rating-wise...so why not just order a full season?

didn't know that this was how capullo came up with the face-mask...the fact that he improvised one of the best iterations of the joker because he and snyder needed him in that story is amazing!

Please let the show got to CW...as we've seen with arrow and the flash they can handle the different tones incredibly well, and a crossover with constantine would be soooo amazing... one can always dream of a big shared dctv-universe

Anyway...i hope this show gets to continue in some form!
