So I'm going to make the guess that Sabertooth's soul escaped hell and inhabited his last remaining Marauder clone made by Mr. Sinister. Makes sense to me.

Also reguardless of WHY DC did this it's still a very over due move

No, it's not. It's a move that smacks of desperation. There has never been an "iconic" gay character in DC Comics and it's unlikely there would have been one if they tried to create one from scratch. Now they can make the claim that they have one. They just have to hope that sales don't tank and they have to cancel the book.

So your saying there should be no more gay comic book characters?

No. I'm saying there won't be an iconic one unless you change an established character in an effort to try to manufacture one.

I'm going to read it but if I can't just skip over the gay story elements and still get the story, I won't keep reading it. I don't care if he's gay, I just don't want to read about it.

I did post a question in the post for last weeks podcast and maybe that's not really a question for James but here it is again:

Here's a question to ask James next week. He may not be the best person to ask but he will probably have an idea. When characters are shown shaking hands in comics, why are they usually using their left hands? I can't think of a reasonable reason why this mistake is always overlooked.

Also, Justice Society had like 30 characters at any particular time, will Earth 2 focus on any particular core group of characters or will it focus on the reintroduction of superheros at large on this Earth?

So Reed didn't do anything to cure Victor, before he was torn about by the celestials?

I'm pretty sure he didn't since it was Valeria that made the promise to fix him.

Has Doom been cured of his brain damage yet? I don't remember.

If he has the infinity gauntlet for the reality that he is actually in, he should be able to repair his brain himself.

Edit: I did a little research and found that the idea that the infinity gauntlet only works in it's own reality came from a DC/Marvel JLA/Avengers book when Darkseid found the gauntlet and it didn't work in his universe. So that might mean that that it's not actually true in the Marvel Multiverse proper.

I'm just tired of the Avengers at this point. I just think that after the whole Civil War arc onward it's just been non stop action with no real thought towards the consequences. Captain America was against the SHRA but now he's in charge and just about all the superheroes still work for the government. Isn't that kind of hypocritical? As long as Cap's in charge, somehow it's okay now? Carol Danvers spent her time under the SHRA hunting down and imprisoning superheroes but now there's no hard feelings? Hey let's make her Captain Marvel now cause she's a team player. At least Tony Stark is finally finding out what could happen to you when the government has you under their thumb in Iron Man.

At this point, I'm kinda hoping the X-Men destroy the Avengers.

How come no one else ever thought that this could be the solution to freeing Banner?

Really? You can't figure that out? Personal and professional ethics come to mind right off the bat. Then again, maybe that's too much of a real world consideration. Cloning never seems to be as much of a moral quagmire in the comics as it is in real life.
