I think this is more an issue of the movie really lacking a lot of main stream appeal more than anything. I personally haven't seen it, but that's due in large part to the fact that I only recently started reading the graphic novels, and I don't want to see the movie until I've read the other books. My fear with this movie though is that cutting essentially six books down to a two hour movie is really going to hurt a lot of the good character development bits. Personally, I would have rather seen it split into two movies to allow for more character development and such, but I guess I'll have to see how it was handled once I get a chance to see it.

I've not seen any of Brave and the Bold, but maybe I'll check it out when the season dvd set is released. As far as all the complaints about Young Justice, if you'll look in the article, you'll see it says it takes place on Earth-16 and is part of the multiverse, so to me this means it makes sense that the team is different since it doesn't take place on a different Earth than the main comic book continuity. That asides, since this show is aimed at children, they're likely going to want to use more characters that are recognizable to kids than to comic book fans, especially since these types of shows are meant to be gateway drugs to get kids to buy comic books.

This could be interesting, I'll probably pick this up when it drops just to see what happens. I've always liked the Teen Titans, but I've never read their book. It'd be nice to see Beetle back, but I know he's going to be wrapped up in Generation Lost for about another year, so that's not happening anytime soon.

I usually try to make it on Wednesday, but that isn't always possible with my schedule, so some weeks it's Thursday.

Boo! Looks like I'll be waiting for these to come out on DVD/Blu-ray before I see them, if I'm going to pay $15 to see a movie, and that's before any soda or snacks, I'd much rather just buy it.

I honestly don't mind seeing some roster switch ups, even though I know companies mostly do this to increase sales, I think it's a good way to introduce readers to a lesser known or newer character or to get readers to check out a book for a team they may not have read otherwise.

I thought this sounded interesting when I heard it was using mostly Marvel's street level heroes, which I think it a nice idea, but it doesn't sound like it's been executed well, that fact that there are so many tie-ins is also a bit of a turn off. Oh well, if it turns out to be good I'll just pick up the trades when they come out.

On a side note, what happened to G-Man's cool shirts? All he's been wearing is a blue shirt with a tie for the last few days...

Nice, I'm hoping I can get the Blu-ray of Red Hood on the cheap that first week it's out, I've never looked into any of the Jonah Hex stuff, but what I got from this clip was that he's pretty badass and Thomas Jane's voice seems to really fit the character.

I like the animated series, and I used to really enjoy the comics, I have just over fifty issues, and it was the first book that I bought regularly, but now...not so much.

I still really like some of the characters, but I just haven't been able to get into their stories for a while and while I was looking forward to the Heroic Age X-men for awhile, once I heard what the first story arc was going to be, I decided to pass on that as well.
