There's been rumors of a dream sequence happening in the movie (the "Do you bleed?" line in particular), so if that's true I'm willing to bet the soldiers are part of it. Plus, unless they have Bats kill in the movie (which I don't care for), I would guess this is it.

Yeah, but this was written by Morrison. A guy who actually gets and knows what Superman stands for while Snyder's Superman stands for, well... yeah. Snyder is obviously a gigantic Batfan, so I don't expect him to be objective in matters like these.

@holyserpent: It will be revealed (or parts of it) in next week's Superman: Futures End one-shot. Dan Jurgens said so in the most recent DC All Access video (skip to 3.13 for it).

@g_man The Machinist's mask could have been lead lined. He seems to know a lot about Clark, so that wouldn't really surprise me.

Can an entire gallery of pictures be moved to another character's page? I'm referring to this one. Given yesterday's revelation I suppose it's pointless to have all those pictures in Kal-L 's page since that turned out to be an Earth-2 version of Bizarro. If not, I guess they can be deleted and @jayjaycaw and @exile_616 can move them under Bizarro's page.

People would be calling it predictable then. No one saw it coming now. But if you want a (super far-fetched) hint, you can always pretend this was one haha chain around his neck was there since his debut.
