they were my first introduction to comic books as a kid, and it took me years to get another comic of them or watch much of the 90s tv series so naturally i got very intrigued.

i've noticed though that x-men have always had new villains whom simple never stick

idk i think once wolverine got popular, x-men went well into the stratosphere lol. it can be argued that x-men would still be popular but their level of popularity would be quite normal if you ask me. even though x-men has many ingredients making it popular, including logan; non are as popular
