I don't think the issue is that people think women should always be covered up, but that it seems to be a stereotype, especially for bad/evil female characters to dress with a little less modesty or however you'd like to phrase that.
One thing is that Thor has pretty much assembled every single female Avenger with a few extra's, which is pretty nifty.
But how exactly is it the Destroyer shrugs off the axe, when the axe actually worked as intended against Celestials and the Destroyer was (putting it bluntly) a miserable failure. I suppose I am just over thinking it...
Because continuity is something that really matters at Marvel [/sarcasm]
Maybe because it was enchanted to damage Celestials, not the destroyer?
