Origins
Nemesis was born in a universe parallel to the Vine Universe. Nemesis is the love child of the Greek God of War Ares. Nemesis, originally Andreas, is the strongest of all of Ares's children by far and chose to serve as the gods' most powerful demigod champion. By the time Andreas was able to walk he could wield a sword. Andreas was born in the city of Sparta where he was trained to be a solider in the Spartan Army. By the time he was 10 he could defeat any of his peers in combat along with some of his instructors which is when they decided that Andreas was a child of Ares. When he was 18 Andreas was sent into the Peloponnesian War and fought in the Battle of Thermopylae. In this dimension the 300 Spartans that fought against the almost endless forces of Persians won the battle because of one demigod, Andreas. Andreas became the King of Sparta after the war because the previous king fell in combat.
The gods immediately knew that Andreas would be a powerful warrior and if he were to ever had a reason to attack the gods then they would have a problem on their hands. So their only options were to kill him, which would piss off Ares, or let him be a servant of the gods. They marked him with green skin as servant of the gods. After hundreds of years of service to the gods putting fear into the hearts of mortals and training in every weapon possible to pass the time. Getting frustrated with the gods for basically making him their mascot. He eventually finds out by eavesdropping on a conversation between Zeus and Poseidon about a land on another part of the world that wasn't connected to Greece and planned to destroy the entire population of this large country so the faith of the mortals would stay with them since they told them that there was nothing beyond Greece which was now stretched put all across Europe as one big empire. Andreas was troubled by this so then Janus god of doorways and decisions came to him and said he had to choose to stay in service to the gods or gather the the new mortals and some of the minor gods who are angry at the the gods of the Dodekatheon (Twelve Olympians) and rally them against the main gods. After gaining the trust of the minor gods he traveled to this "new land" and discovered a utopian society with technology he knew nothing of. He tried to warn them of the coming danger but to no avail until after the first attack. After that war began to ensue with the minor gods along with the new mortals and their technological weapons. Andreas eventually fell for the goddess of revenge Nemesis. She later gave him a stone sword with the power of vengeance. She fell in battle months later, angered by this so much Andreas picked up the stone sword and taking her name and with it swearing to kill the gods which powered up his weapon so much he was able to stab and kill Poseidon. After this the gods decided they could not let him kill any more of them so they all ganged up on him like little bitches and were able to kill him.
None thought Nemesis survived and he didn't, but not even Hades could keep him in the confines of the Underworld bringing along all of the troops killed in the war so far. unable to stop both Nemesis and the new human and their technology that could even hurt the gods, they knew they were defeated. So they called for a peace treaty with Nemesis. Of course they screwed over Nemesis again and sent him to the Vine Universe hoping that would be the last they saw of him and just to be sure they sent an assassin hand picked by Hades. He woke up only remembering the name Nemesis in the vast Savage Land.
