At my job other workers talk behind my back and make fun of my aspergers. They say I always stare blankly like an idiot and that i have no eye contact. They even sais that I run on when I speak and they were mocking me. I was cleaning the bathroom while they were saying this. they didn't notice i was there.

i hate myself. i feel horrible.

I am not the one to take a label and then post it on my forehead like a tool but a lot of people consider me a "stoner" because of all the pot I smoke (I guess i am, i'm not ashamed). But people get judgmental and try to change my lifestyle. I'm 18 and I live with my girlfriend in our small apartment(I was emancipated from my parents). I have a medical Marijuana card and I smoke to handle my anxiety(Bipolar Disorder and OCD) and for my anorexia. When people see me smoking they automatically throw their "facts" at me which is most of the time, spoon fed gov't Bullsh%t. Me and My girlfriend Amy try to support the legalization of marijuana by joining some of the local support groups here in California. I honestly don't think it's as bad as tobacco or alcohol or even prescription pills. Without it I would have trouble sleeping and eating (due to my anorexia, i was advised to gain at least 30 pounds by my doctor). I would also have trouble at work. Even if I wasn't using it for medical use, it's still my life and people should just back off. Yet people still seem to judge my lifestyle. I know I shouldn't care what they think, but it bugs me. Why are people so worried about other peoples way of life that they feel they need to criticize it to the extreme?

The topic of food came up when I told her i gained 2 pounds. I am a recovering anorexic. My girlfriend tried to talk to her but she was being all self-righteous to her also. It's like she literally believes that her views are not opinions but "fact" as she always says.

@erik: I see that now and the reason i was friends with her is that she was there for me when i needed help. We started to help each other but then she started to show her true colors and its hard to avoid the subject because she would bring it up frequently. She even bugs her husband with her ways so much to the point that he gets distant sometimes. She doesn't even see what she is doing to him instead she thinks he is the one being "weird" about things.

@jayc1324: the thing was i wasn't trying to argue, i politely told her i respected her views but i just disagree. I even told her i didn't want to argue but she started one anyways. I really hate that this happened because she was a close friend and she ended it because i didn't accept her "truth" and that i wasn't listening to her "teachings". She thinks she is better because she is older, i guess. I'm 18 and she is 26.

I had a vegan friend who literally cut me off from talking to her simply because I told her i didn't agree that "Milk is rocket fuel for cancer". I told her I respected her beliefs but I just didn't agree with that or the vegan lifestyle. She got all weird and told me that it was "facts" and when I tried to tell her I have an opinion of my own and she has her own opinion, she only saw her opinion as dead-on facts.

whether it's true or not, she got really self-righteous and when she doesn't agree with someone's lifestyle she insists her views on them to the extreme as if she is an all knowing human being.

anyways we aren't friends anymore because I finally stood up for myself and told her how I felt. I kinda told her she was a "fascist" because she pressed her views on me and wouldn't drop the subject until I agreed (i wasn't even arguing with her on the topic. I was simply saying I respected her view, although i just disagreed and i simply wanted to drop the subject). She was even too self-righteous to "agree to disagree". I literally asked if we can just agree to disagree but she got all offended because she couldn't do that with a "fact". She thinks she is helping people by spreading her views (Milk is rocket fuel for cancer) but i feel like if someone disagrees then she should just drop it, but she didn't.

How do I deal with people who act like this? I'm tired of it, what do i do if it happens with someone else in the future?

thanks in advance for the advice :)

What Comic Book from any era do you wished you could have picked up? Meaning you regret not getting it at the time it came out.

The Universe is mainly the totality of existence. So if he were to destroy the universe, he would have to destroy himself too. If Supes can do that, I highly doubt he would do it.

I tend to mix it up alittle. I agree that sometimes a non-super hero story is a breath of fresh air, (for me at least) But i have always found them interesting,
