Civil War would be awesome but I don't think it's especially realistic. You'd have to introduce a whole bunch of superheros over the course of the next few years to make a Superhero Registration Act necessary. While that's perfectly reasonable in terms of standalone films, getting all of those stars together for a showdown would cost a LOT of money just in actor salaries. The current cast of Avengers will only grow in value over the next group of films, and I don't think a budget can support massive salaries and top of the line special effects.

@Mercy_: They've only got three years to get the general public up to speed, after all...

@G-Man: PLEASE don't stop doing these. I visit Garbowska's, Pichelli's, Noto's, and Takara's websites almost daily because of Awesome Art Picks. I don't believe I'm the only person that this holds true for, either. Thanks for taking the time to find these art pieces for us!

I think this would be a difficult film to market. There are no superheroes, so you lose out on those people that don't read comics but will come out to watch Batman or The Avengers. 98% of the cast is female, so you lose out on the girls that come to comic book movies to watch Chris Hemsworth take off his shirt (or talk). If most of the female cast was hot you could bank on the male market--except a lot of the women in the book cut off their boobs, which is a practice I would think did not rank very high on the hot scale.

I love Danny Elfman's Spider-Man theme. What's cool is that even though he composed both Batman and Spider-Man themes, you can totally hear the differences in the heroes through the music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKbdLBTgots

I think Phil Noto has solved the problem of how to draw a super heroine who wears very little clothing and still looks intimidating with that Big Barda.

Maybe the writer and the artist were fighting and the writer said "Fine. Draw THIS, ***hole".
