Warner Bros. has released a sizzle reel of footage from the upcoming episodes of The Flash.

We get a couple of nice shots of Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick running around doing his Speedster thing. The sepia tone apears more to tell viewers that it's a flashback and not Earth 2 looks sepia toned. Also get a couple of shots of new meta-humans being brought in by Zoom such as the Kimiyo Hosh version of Dr. Light. Arthur Light already exists on The Flash per a one off refrence by Cisco on Arrow. Not quiet sure who the black guy shooting energy(?) out of his body is.

Speaking of Zoom, they get a couple of new shots. He really looks like the Black Flash, the blue lightining actually makes for a good accent color. He wants to be the one Speedster to rule them all across the Multiverse. Still gives me Cobalt Blue vibes. Even with a bit of processing on Tony Todd it's still understandably him. Having Todd voice Zoom also is pretty smart since if you look closely they reuses the footage of Zoom talking to Sand Demon in "Flash of Two Worlds". That's actually something The Flash has been really smart about doing. Odd that he dosen't have his eyes colored in blue like in the Canadian "Two Worlds" promo.

While that's laudi blue and give me day dreams of what. David Simon Marvel project would be, that's just not how Marvel operates but that'd be cool

No other then not seeing Flash S01 E08 'Flash vs Arrow' I guess some of the stuff in Arrow S03 E08 "The Brave and the Bold" might not make sense but it's not that big a dea.

Like the lack of verisimilitude its got a hookey Silver Age vibe.

Maxwell Lord (Peter Facinelli), Reactron (Chris Browning), Hellgrammite (Justice Leak). Curious to see Reactron with a bit more light on him. Overall though, I dig the not trying to create verisimilitude and letting it all look kinda Silver Age hookey.

I think it looks fine.

Was always curious how'd they translate the generally boring/simple Tornado character design. Having the human face makes for obvious Vision comparisions, and he is a character that strains the uncanny valley in some odd ways in the MCU.

Curious how it looks in motion.

Not unless you retcon/make them old like the classic JSA was prior to Flashpoint. The whole thing that makes the JSA cool is the family/legacy accpect of the characters and team. Without that stuff they're an odd articualtion of an IP that could just be changed to Justice League and do a lot better (United not with standing).

@starbrand1: I'm glad they've shifted the talking point towards a cosmic terms as an adjetive to describe the film and not the wanton destruction it was originally annouced with. Gah Man of Steel had just come out and yeah not a good time to associate your product with that.
