Justice League film roster:

No Caption Provided

I've chosen the most recognized members of the League throughout various forms of media (especially the Justice League/Unlimited animated series). I've also chosen characters that display a sense of variety, uniqueness, and diversity in race and gender (which will be shown through the actors involved). I've also placed them in order of casting/likelihood of casting/likelihood of chosen characters. Thank you for taking time out to read this!

List items

  • Director: Zack Snyder

    (Honorable mentions: Peter Jackson, David Yates, Ridley Scott, Brad Bird, J.J. Abrams, Robert Zemeckis, Steven Spielberg, or Guillermo del Toro;

I wish they were consultants: Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, Grant Morrison, Stan Berkowitz, Dan Riba, James Tucker, Rich Fogel, and J.M. DeMatteis)

  • portrayal by Henry Caville

  • portrayal by Ben Affleck

  • portrayal by Gal Gadot

  • portrayal by Ray Fisher

  • portrayal by Jason Momoa

The butt of many a fish-joke, DC Comics fans know that this well known character is a powerful and rugged sea king that will stop at nothing for justice. Can you imagine him calling forth creatures from the ocean to help aid him in battle? It would be truly remarkable.

  • portrayal unknown - Dwayne Johnson will portray Black Adam.

  • Below are cast and characters appearing on TV.

  • portrayal by Stephen Amell

With a strong campaign from Amell and his fan favorite portrayal of Oliver Queen making headlines, the studio would be wise to somehow incorporate his Oliver Queen aka Arrow on into the big screen.

  • portrayal by Caity Lotz

The same can be said for Lotz Canary. If Arrow makes it to the group party, it wouldn't be a surprise to see fellow Leaguer Black Canary on the big screen. It would add to the female diversity undoubtedly. Which actress would play her though? Yet to be seen...

  • portrayal by Grant Gustin

Having the Flash in the film is likely. Having Grant Gustin as Flash on film remains to seen...

(Honorable mentions: Greg Holden, Bradley Cooper, Charlie Hunnam, or Garret Hedlund, or Hayden Christensen)

  • portrayal by Robbie Amell

  • portrayal by Brandon Routh

  • Others that make sense.

  • This founding member of the Justice League enjoyed fame from the Justice League/Unlimited series and still has potential for greatness on screen, despite Goyer's critical words towards the character.

(Honorable mentions: Morris Chestnut or Idres Elba)

  • Michelle Rodriguez or an Arabic/Egyptian actress

Call her Hawk Woman and give her a mace! This character is popularly known from her Justice League/Unlimited days. Allowing a strong actress like Rodriguez to play her would ass more diversity and strength to the cast.

  • Lupita Nyong'o

The Academy Award winning actress would bring diversity, skills, and authenticity to the role of Mari aka Vixen, because both she and her share the same place of origin... Africa.

(Honorable mentions: Zoe Saldana, Paula Patton, or Megan Good)

  • Idres Elba

There is no denying that one of, if not, the most well known ring slinger aka Green Lantern is John Stewart himself. The backlash from fans that thought they were getting short changed by hiring a "white actor over the Black character" during the Green Lantern movie was truly remarkable and surprising. This goes to show how well the character resonated with fans that grew up watching John evolve through the series Justice League/Unlimited. It also shows that the studio needs this character in the Justice League movie. Idris Elba has expressed a desire to play as the character. He's even posted a pic of himself on Twitter as John Stewart aka Green Lantern.

(Honorable mentions: Nick Jones, Shemar Moore, Isiah Washington, or Laz Alonzo (honorable mentions: Morris Chestnut, Tyrese Gibson)

  • If they don't recast Ryan Reynolds... Chris Pine, Liam Hemsworth, Jake Gyllenhaal or Armie Hammer (honorable mentions: Taylor Kitsch)

  • Elena Santine, Evan Rachel Wood, or Christina Hendricks

Not saying she should be a member, but an appearance would be nice
