Does nth metal, in pre-flashpoint continuity, disable, negate, disrupt, block, and otherwise nullify magic? A guy is telling me it has "torn down magical force fields, killed ghosts, and otherwise harmed magic users" in the comics.

Truth? Falsehoods? Scans?

But there is nothing wrong with being a big fan of Batman (I would consider myself one) but fanboy-ism, and blindly supporting him in every battle and claiming he will always win is just stupid and childish.

What's wrong with loving a hero that much? You seem to think people are choosing to be fanboys. Sorry, we aren't. We just genuinely love the character to that degree.

No, you're just retarded.

I love Batman.

He's my favorite character.

He wouldn't beat a bloodlusted Superman in a random fight though, if Superman was just like "I wanna kill Batman now for no reason, wheee~". Saying that Batman WOULD win in that scenario is not "just they way you are", it's just you being stupid.

Stop being stupid.

So the only things I'm still uncertain of, are the Sand-People's sentience and the feelings towards Sand People in Star Wars canon (including the EU; basically, do people in the SWEU consider them sentient (albeit dangerous), or do the majority see them as mindless, lowly animals?), and the strength/magical negation effects of Promethium and Nth metal.

Anyone got any issues, books, or knowledge that would help answer these questions?

Personally, I jumped onto Deathstroke at issue #9, when Rob Liefeld took over.

... Said no one ever

I'd like a Deathstroke open-world game, like Skyrim, where you can be hired for all sorts of jobs - and you can go up against lots of generated or canon assassins, heroes, and assorted trouble makers, and test your skills.

Yeah, that'd be awesome.

They could definitely do this on a console in the next console generation - the game in the video could probably have been done on LAST generation consoles, like the Gamecube, too. The graphics don't look too intensive, the gameplay looks smooth and easy enough, and it looks like fun. They probably could make a really cool Flash game on the next generation of consoles.

Whether or not they actually will make one, is a mystery...

I think $60 was the most I ever spent on one load of comic books. I usually spend ~$20 at a time, though.

Yeah, that's what I read too, but the last time I used a wiki link in the argument, the guy went and changed the wiki and said "oh look, I just changed the facts of comics. Truly amazing," so I have learned not to use wiki links in arguments with this guy.
