The only part of Batman Inc I liked is the scene with Dick and Damian but other than that the death was very disappointing, if your going to kill a character like that then let them go out with a bang. I don’t see how that was an “heroic death”, it was just a violent and ended in a way that after you got over the shock (if you had any seen the ending was out everywhere) you look at the pages and asks “That it?” Grant whole run was for this? What a waste of a good character. Thalia has become a one dimensional character, Death in the Family’s fallout is pointless now, and now we have to deal with grief driving Batman again. This going to be a fun couple of months for Batman and Robin fans As for his twin, when I found out that this was the clone shown to us way back in Morrison’s Batman and Robin, I felt disappointed because I thought we were going to get a cool new future villain. A Damian his mother always wanted, a bother trying to prove he better than his sibling something more then a overgrown killing machine. That can barely fill a speech bubble. I read somewhere this whole story suppose to be a metaphor for divorce of parents only in up hurting the child. I can see that and thinking back on early on Grant’s run it work well with the story but I think the death just weaken the point, even detracts from it.
