Electric Superman can phase through solid objects, see frequencies of energy, and draw power from electrical sources. In order to maintain physical cohesion in this form, he needs to wear a containment suit. During this time, he is able to transform into the corporeal form of Clark Kent, but in his human guise, he has no special powers.

notabley though, during the Electric Superman phase, he does not have a weakness for Kryptonite (Magic was never shown being used against him during this series), he can't fly and is shown instead 'teleporting' in a flash of white light from place to place.

in this form he doesn't have super strength, head vision, the standard form of X-ray vision, instead his powers are more loosely energy based, where he can create an energy field to simulate super strength, create and mainstain electro magnetic fields through sheer will power.

Ok, normal Superman has fought and defeated (or drew against) Doomsday several times now...

How would Superman, in his electric persona do against the beast?

my money's on Doomsday for that battle.

Oh, any chance of explenations as well as your thoughts on the winner?

ok... my ultimate DC team...

Leader - Superman (Electric version, blue suit with lightning bolt insignia...)

2IC - ION (Kyle Rayner)

Parallax - (Hal Jorden when fighting for redemption)

John Constantine - (For mystical backup, kyptonions and energy beings seem to have a problem with magic. The constantine from the comics, not the lame ass movie)

Jesse Quick - (standard speedster on team, for those who don't know she also has flight and superstrength powers, not just her speedster powers)

Nightwing - Dark member of the team (for some reason i can see Nightwing and Constantine getting on really well lol)

Jade - energy powers as well as untapped plant powers

Hitman - (Thomas "Tommy" Monaghan) for the fight's that have to ended with a deadly outcome.

Lady Flash - (Christina Alexandrova) for speedster backup when Jesse is unavailable. she maybe a bit borderline, but i'm sure she would be stable working in a JL type environment.

Powergirl - (Kara or Karen Starr) Powerhouse of the team, kryptonion based strength and other powers (sorry, i know power girl from pre crisis on infinite earths, not too sure of her new backstory after the latest crisis)

Supergirl - Kara Zor-El (kryptonion backup for Powergirl and Superman)

that's my team... think it's quite well rounded with everything a JL team needs lol

not sure there is anyone in the DC universe short of the newgods who would actually win a fight with the flash... people just think he has the power to run fast but his power's are a lot more free ranged than that.

look at the book The Nail, where he uses his speed to alter the frequency his hand vibrates at so he can move Amazo's brain out of his head...

simple things like that, but when used strategically could beat pretty much anyone else.

superman vs aliens was very cool, i loved the girl, kara, from that series. for a while i thought they were going to bring her into the mainstream DCU as the new supergirl... might have been cool :)

if you're counting elseworlds for Superman stories... hmmm though to choose...

1, Kingdom Come has to be at the top, obviously :)

2, Last Son of Earth, defnitely a kick ass storyline

3, Superman: Kal, one of my alltime favorites for a Superman elseworld, medievil superman and a armoured suit, always good lol also the spin on the excalibur tale was a brilliant storyline.

not really sure for the main storyline, hate to admit it but i did adctually enjoy the Death of Superman series, if only because it actually had widespread repercussions in the DC universe and DC actually kept to them.

just wondering... has anyone heard anything more about the Darkness movie that's dure out soon? or the game that was supposed to be released for the X360 in feb?

seems all details of these projects have just dissapeared from the web.

Flash, everytime... even different flashes would be able to do it different ways...

Barry - Wolverine wouldn't even be able to touch him, as soon as he got close barry would vibrate out of sync with him.

Wally - no contest, he'd be able to throw a thousand punches before wolverine even got his claws out.

Bart - he'd just throw wolverine into the speed force and have done with it lol
