Elseworlds: From Gladiator to Man of Steel.

Imagine if you will, a world in which the ship carrying Jor-El's infant son came out of whichever faster than light method it used a few decades earlier than in the well known story of canon. Imagine also if he was discovered and taken in by a different Midwestern family, the Danner's. As in Abednego Danner, scientist and father of Hugo Danner who in another reality would become the inspiration for a comicbook character by the name of Superman.

In this particular fold of space-time, it would be the amazing feats of strength and resilience demonstrated by young Kal at a very tender age which spurred Abednego into experimenting with his child's fetus, as it developed within his wife's womb. What, pray tell, might be the consequences of several ccs of Kryptonian blood (obtained through the use of explosive bolt hypodermic needles) injected directly into his child's developing fetus?

Once again, and for the purposes of this piece of fiction, I shall be using an iteration of Kryptonians whose baseline attributes before being exposed to the light and radiation of a star different from their own is identical to that of the Viltrumites.
