You know Otto Octavius isn't going to be Spider-Man for too much longer. If he does, that would be completely unprecedented and opposite of anything Marvel has ever done, and if there is one thing Marvel is...it's predictable. They did alot to suggest that Captain America I was one of those people who bit the worm and said, Cap will never come back. But I also gave Marvel more credit for creativity than that before and in reality they've made nothing but transparent\predictable moves for the last 10 years. I doubt that ASM2 will drop in 2014 with Otto still as Spider-Man. I think Marvel is just giving you some time to "miss" the real Spider-Man.
I know and that's not what I was saying. I was talking about Peter coming back in 2013 which the solicits nor anyone from Marvel have shown any inkling of that. I agree that come ASM2, Marvel will bring the original Peter Parker back and make a big deal of it. The problem though is that Peter will be put back in a place where he was when Stan Lee created him. He'll have few friends due to Otto being a prick to everyone Peter's cared about, no romance for a long time unless he decides to continue the romance with Ana for some bizarre reason and Otto will probably cost Peter his Horizon job at some point. It's not exactly creative to put your character back years of development back to the place he started out at.
Since when is anything written in a letters column set in stone?
I'm not saying it is. I am merely using it as an indication to the OP's wishful thinking that Peter will come back at the end of 2013 when it'll just be a few past stories that take place Pre Superior to pacify those who want Peter back.
@entropy_aegis: Fair enough but as Killemall said, New 52 Darkseid hasn't shown the ability to use the Omega Sanction in the New 52. Regardless of Return of Bruce Wayne still being canon, it needs knowledge of the New Gods and Final Crisis to work. And the New Gods have only just been encountered by Wonder Woman, Superman, Power Girl and Huntress. So, as per usual, the New 52 continuity is hazy on that
@killemall When did Gorr show a voluntary ability to time travel? All he did was seize control of the time pools from the Time Lords of Chronux and use one of his black beserkers to send Young Thor into the far future.
@mitran: He backhanded Superman without expending much effort. It'd take the First Born a little longer to put down Superman by my estimates so I'd guess Helspont is above the First Born too.

Busting a planet<manipulating an entire star and beating a Skyfather. Pretty sure there's a blatent edge between these two here that you seem to be ignoring.
@matchesmalone21: Mate he beat an Odin Force empowered Thor along with present day and young Thor. Then there's the list of other gods Gorr has killed. Despite you not liking Iamwarlock's tone or something, I have read all the issues and can confirm that Gorr did kill a god who could hold black holes amongst many other gods. And this was before Gorr went into the future and got his amp.
Exactly. Marvel's comments on SpOck support this. A shame that they're letting sales of Slott's perverse writing get to them rather than honouring the fans wishes.
