Drake was my favorite, but I never was a big fan of the teenage boy running around in his underpants. I say the vote goes to the one that didn't wear the revealing tights all the time.... Wait, was there a Robin that didn't do that?

"
if it counts for anything, tim was the first one to put some pants on the thing, well, tights

I grew into comic with tim as robin and I say TIM!

Holy crap, I'm going to Carnegie in a week (freshmen, CIT)! I know they offered some kind of a fan/comicbooks intro english course last year but I guess that was replaced with the fan/sports intro english this year. What will be your courses number (I think I could still schedule it in, if it's just one day/one credit)?

If there was talk about moral code, I feel like the lanterns and superman would need to be discussed. Not gonna lie, I kinda dislike marvel after the whole civil war, cap still being dead, spidey went emo, all the x-men losing there powers. So I haven't read much of marvel besides the occasional spiderwoman or deadpool (they're always funny). DC, I feel like the year ones would be a good start off.

I actually just think of batman and costume as just another tool bruce uses to fight crime. I don't think the dark knight is who he really is, neither is the playboy, but just a guy willing to do anything to stop crime.

I like the character and all, but practically just beating the crap out of a criminal doesn't do anything to deter them from doing a crime again. I remember him commenting while punching out some nameless thug that he was hitting him hard enough so that he would rethink before selling drugs again. That made me roll my eyes because knocking someone out doesn't change their mindset. But if, as a billionaire, he set out to create new community centers for children that see crime as the only way, or helped out the public school system, or set up some ex-con home center, some wellness houses, maybe something for children and possible criminals to see that there are other careers out there besides THUG #3. I mean, he walks through the sewers as the batman and sees all the homeless and it doesn't occur that he should have some more shelters built? Also: kill the joker, if not him then why, at some point, doesn't the government step in and give the joker a lethal injection shot?

None of this would sell comics though.

" I was really in a bad place about a year ago. Struggling with addiction was tough and i kept feeling like i was gonna fall back and ijust hated myself for it. I still loved reading comics and they seemed to be a good outlet for me, being escapism and all. I had a life changing moment while reading Green lantern and learned "Hope, without will power is nothing". that really taught me a lesson and since then i continue to read comics, particullary the blue lantern corps stuff. "
I love all the things about the blue lantern stuff. Also hope being able to power will power, avarice being unable to take from hope, hope being the only thing to destroy rage and weaken fear.

I'd also really like to see the indigo tribe.

Dang, neither are terrible but I'd say my family is nicer and my friends are more respectful. Like, both talk a lot of crap, we all just like to joke around and I feel odd with anyone who is overly sweet and never busting chops and can't take a joke. Still, I notice my family thinks of me as the little naive girl and my friends see me as someone to go out and be myself. So my family is probably a little nicer, they're more likely to compliment me I guess but they'd never take an order from me. My friends and I will just sit around and tease each other but I'm stage manager in theater and head tech and I can get a lot of respect and have them follow what I say.

The few times he does use them are just as tools and not with intent to hurt. I'm okay with that but if it gained a spot on the batbelt, no.

I love that goddamn scene, with his little queer-named batmobile.

Anyway, this seems to vary on definition. So I went to websters which defines a superhero as  "a fictional hero having extraordinary or superhuman powers; also : an exceptionally skillful or successful person"

So yeah, batman is a superhero.
