I don't know how I feel about taking such a complex character and reducing her to the childish version from the T.V. show's to pander to those fans in order to sell comics.
the one where he get's shot into space and comes home. He has solo adventures in space and comes home a year later. It expands on his relationship with Sally, but on the other hand she becomes rather weak and weepy for a while.
I think it's a matter of degress. each of the lanterns choose a bearer whose has one emotion that is there most defining trait. Hal's greatest aspect is strong will, Carols most defining aspect is her love for Hal and Barry's was his ability to inspire hope in people. It's not that they don't have compassion, it's that they don't have enough compassion for the ring to choose them, and Ray did. Also in the newest issue it shows that the ring's purpose was to brainwash psychos into feeling compassion so it's complicated.
I love EMH. it brings a ton of great stories from the comics, from the origin of Scott Lang to Beta Ray Bill (Steve Blum is a voice acting super star in my book). And now there running with the secret invasion storyline. Whenver the producers fight with each other it's the viewers/fans get screwed.
@Deranged Midget: I think it's a human hulk hybrid. Banners human body was destroyed but his psyche is still with the hulk. Instead of being hulk in banners body it's now banner in hulks body.
