One of the better DC Rebirth series out there. However I think the way Flash's costume is continually covered in lightning is overdone to the point of me being turned off this book everytime I look at it.
I enjoyed this. Abnett is one solid writer so I can see this series getting even stronger as it progresses. And of course Brad Walker's art is beyond stunning.
Another outstanding issue. I find it odd though why Tim is named "Red" Robin when very little of his costume is red. Too bad they didn't go back to his original outfit he donned when he first became RR pre-Flashpoint (the Kingdom Come style); I liked that.
Solid issue. As usual Bendis nails the character moments. And Coipel's artwork is pretty fantastic. A lot of set up going on but a lot of momentum storywise as well. Promising stuff!
Some fine points. But isn't the industry just giving the fans what they most consume? Variants... yes too many, but we keep buying 'em. Relaunches... fans hop onboard, more buy 'em. Events... too many back to back, but they do sell. The cycle continues.
