Maybe she's really the daughter of Cable? Was is stated how he knew about her? If it was I don't remember it. Or did he know about her from the future he was raised in? Eh, I'm probably wrong, I have no idea who the mother could be. I think just some random girl would be weird. I had an idea that since Jean is the Phoenix and the Phoenix is Jean that the fragment (if it's a fragment) mutated Hope's genes to be like Jeans. But that's probably a bad idea to go with.

Oh no I meant that someone from X-Force or New Mutants will die instead or Bastion, because I was going with 7 deaths. But you do have a very good point about more people dying, most mutants and x-mutants are all on Utopia so we could have another massacre, I just think that 7 deaths will from major players.
@Edamame: The Solicit says 7 but then again that could be for that one issue? I'm not sure I'm just going with how I think it will happen .Also are you confused by what's been bolded in my quote? Or is that an error or something? If you were confused I meant that, since I had more bad guys than good guys die, those two characters could be replaced with someone from X-Force or New Mutants since X-F is going on a "suicide mission" and supposedly a NM "will fall". But I would need to see solicits for Second Coming # 2 and Hellbound # 3 to be willing to replace them.
Why are we guessing for one persons death? The solicit says "SEVERAL WILL DIE." And why are they all heroes? I think they'll trick us and kill some bad guys and save some good guys. Anyway I'm going to pick seven people. According to ASTONISHING X-MEN: XENOGENESIS Storm, Emma, Beast, Scott, Wolverine and Armor survive, so can't pick them. In an interview Mike Carey says Rouge is "going to come out of [Second Coming] on a new trajectory" so sounds like she survives. So I guess (in no particular order) Nightcrawler, Legion, Bastion, Trask, Cameron Hodge, Cable and Stryker. I say Bastion and Stryker could be replaced with someone from X-Force or New Mutants but I need to see solicits for X-Men: SC # 2 and Hellbound # 3.
@Deadeyeduck: I'm pretty sure it is since something happened to the Cuckoos in a recent-ish X-book, that's in continuity, showed I'm not sure if it's been released yet so this may be a spoiler Phoenix fragments being ripped out of them and they got the Phoenix in Warsong which is a sequel to Endsong, so yeah.
I agree with Stormultt, Second Coming is going to be amazing, I just hope people don't trash it when/if Jean Grey "comes back from the dead again" even though she's been alive since X-Men: Phoenix Endsong and is in the White Hot Room collecting Phoenix fragments (People seem to forget that). Jean obviously needs to get that fragment out of Hope.
Everyone keeps saying how they want Jean Grey to stay dead, I'm pretty sure Jean Grey's alive anyway, she's just in the White Hot Room collecting Phoneix Fragments and just hasn't appearred since X-Men: Endsong. And since there are Phoenix fragments scattered all over the universe some got to the Cuckoo's in Warsong and in Hope. Apparently the fragments were taking out of the Cuckoos and Racheal and Korvus, meaning Jean is out there collecting. With Hope coming back I'm sure Jean will come looking, so yeah this may be the story Jean comes back.
