 Do not prolong your agony. This is pathetic. I'm trying to be technical here and you're saying pure crap - you don't even bother put any explination, I'm new here, but that's a different issue. 

 Yeah right. I never did say that he can take on the JLA nor the Avengers, but he is not that overrated  to deserve being referred to as not equal to galactus. However, if we're talking about one on one, no superhero may actually be able to defeat him, except for DC's Spectre(the wrath of God, the Judeo-Christian one).

 HELLBOY is the one who would take the cake. With his right hand of doom he can summon and command the Ogdru Jahad(the seven gods of chaos),and if that isn't enough, Hellboy's angel of death won't actually do his thing - Hellboy is mortal only during the appocalypse. This is pathetic.

DC does not hate steel- much as I like doomsday, there is no guarantee that the fight will surely kill steel.
