Just found this on the front page, i miss the 3 minute experts but i have to imagine they are really time consuming to research and make. Comicvine needs some new interns ^_^
Funny thing is, the Thomas Wayne skin is the one im most excited for and the one i was most willing to pay for and i get it for free! Guess im just paying for the Harley one then ^_^
Ardian Syaf has been knocking it out of the park with his cover work on the likes of Evil Ernie and does it again on this issue of this series, i hope he finds his way onto one of the podcasts at some point.
@G-Man: I completely agree with your course of action. Comicvine's professionalism in verification and confirmation is an attribute that is scarce in the world of modern journalism. By the way, I got to the spoiler part of the Higgins podcast the second Nightwing came out on the DC app at 12:06am. The timing was perfect. Got to read the comic then listen to Kyle's commentary about the issue right after since you delayed the spoilers. Great call!
Agree 100% with this, the reason writers are so happy to speak to comicvine in the first place is because they dont publish rumours or speculation.
This is bad news, two higher profile writers leaving DC after nearly being forced to change a story which DC themselves agreed to? Sounds a little too close to what happend with George Perez on Superman and the books (crazy McCrazy) Leifeld had been working on. I was sad to see Falkov getting his excellent book I Vampire being cancelled but this and what happend to Gail Simone is not painting a very pretty picture of the higher ups in DC right now.
Out of all the new 52 books, Batman has definetly been the best in my opinion and that is in no small part due to the fantastic writing and cleaver planning of Scott Snyder. I have absolute confidence in him to deliver me a great story and keep me hooked for those 11 issues. If there is one person out there who i trust not to mess up Batman its Snyder, im still waiting for him to write his first bad book.
Hope he ditches Harley and makes Deadshot a badass again,give him some personality and feats.
I half agree, keep Harley, she brings at least some humor to the team, but yes, give Floyd his personality back, he used to be my favorite member of the Secret Six.
Harley is probably my favourite DC character and the one reason i started collecting this book in the first place, though even i have to admit that she hasnt been the most well written chracter since the series began. I really did like her facing off against The Joker, it will be interesting to see what happens with her going forward.
Red Lanterns, Stormwatch and Batwing really need to go, i feel they have all been living on borrowed time, uninteresting characters, lack of interesting enemies to battle or any chemistry between their extended cast, surely they all have to be in the next round?
I dont care how we get there, just give me my damn Venom movie! Personally i think a Venom movie with Flash Thompson would be much more interesting than an Eddie Brock one, think of it like a James Bond with symbiote armor type thing. Of course either way, as long as they treat Venom better than Spiderman 3 did ill be pleased.
