@stahlflamme: I read comics, suspension of disbelief starts at the door. if I want reality or a mental challenge, well that is why I have a family and a job.
My point is, how is Batman playing judo less realistic that the zombie and the metahuman?
ugh Nolan's flicks were pure overrated garbage, much like Morronison's writing on the Batman comics during the same time. Neither "creator' had any grasp of the character.
BvS had its issues, but it has wiped the slate clean for a new wave of films that will not contain the Nolan melodrama and angst. Just like Rebirth is dong for the comics.
Sounds like I will be mad that I left this issue on my pull list. I knew it would be bad, we are talking about Ann Nocenti's work. I finally gave up on Katana and Catwoman is actually much worse. I should have known better. I should have known better.
As much as I hate time-travel storylines, the writing, the character, and the art keep me coming back to Miss Fury. Hopefully the next arc will be a more traditional period piece.
I know that I am supposed to be shocked and appalled that DC doesn't what their heroes married and that Blackman/Williams quit over it, but their storylines dragged on FOREVER.
I'm glad they are going and I'm hopeful that Andreyko can do something interesting with the series.
I feel bad for Andreyko as most of these "fans" who are in an uproar over this "travesty" have probably never read Batwoman.
