@entropy_aegis: Yes. You must be talking about Grant Moronison's Batman run. That was a horrible six years of lackluster storylines that went nowhere. What a hack.
ugh, Bane. Surprised any writer wants to waste time writing him after he was featured in that crappy Nolan movie, but then again King does like dusting off D-list villains.
At least we have the amazing Monster Men crossover to enjoy for now.
I am pretty worried Lee's issue with falling behind schedule is going to ruin this book. How long before people drop the series because the backup story has more pages than the main story?
Poor decision making, just like giving the Hitch the Justice League series. If creators are constantly missing deadlines, do not give them high profile books. Hell don't give them books at all.
I loved the Rebirth one-shot and first issue. Personally it's in the Top 5 if not Top 3 Rebirth titles for me. The way the characters interact is beautiful IMO and that's obviously an important aspect of the Titans.
I am not a fan of Finch but that sequence drawn from Alfred's perspective from inside the batmobile as he drives through Gotham is amazing. I wonder if that was King's idea.
