Read somewhere, don't remember where, that at Comic-Con some Marvel chap announced they have bought the publishing rights to Miracleman? Is this true? If so HUZZAH! Alan Moore's Miracleman series of the 1980's is, in my humble opinion, one of the best and greatest examples of a mature and realistic superhero tale. Because of the convoluted ownership of the character no volumes have been printed for years (as far as I know, correct me if wrong). You can buy certain volumes on E-bay but the prices were crazy ( in pounds sterling upwards of a hundred to five hundred quid). I really hope that Marvel reprint the Miracleman volumes. They are brilliant, gritty and disturbing in places (the image of London after Kid Miracleman's rampage is a horrific yet incredibly powerful one that sticks with me) and for too long have people not been able to enjoy them. The same cannot be said of Neil Gaiman's short tenure on Miracleman. I assume Gaiman has a lot of fans so I shall refrain from going on any further with this in the interests of world peace.
