Recently, I stumbled on a catalog-card generator, programmed by a librarian, John Blyberg, and posted to his blog, blyberg.net. It's more toy than tool, a throwback (Thursday!) to that time before barcodes and databases, when card catalogs had typewritten notecards that the absent-minded annotated by hand, their book-reviews in brief. Which is what I had wanted awhile, a way to remark on OGNs and TPBs outside of the hundred-word review. Serendipity, right?
