So this is my first ever blog post...

I don't have much to say aside from the fact that I love comics and this site has helped me tremendously. I have been reading comics for 6 years, and I don't know why it took so long for me to join. I go to school in South Carolina and my normal home is in Maryland, where my local comic shop is. It is hard for me to get comics regularly, so I rely on this site to keep up to date with important information. After checking this site multiple times became a daily habit, I decided it was finally time to join.

So, a little personal story.

Last night for Valentine's Day, I told my girlfriend that I was taking her to my apartment where I had cooked her dinner. She hates my roommate, so I knew she would dread that idea. Little did she know, my buddy Alex and I had cleaned his entire house and set up a totally romantic dinner for two, with Alex volunteering himself as the waiter. I cooked her Chicken Bruscheta and thoroughly surprised her. She loved it. Just goes to show that you don't need to go all out at a fancy restaurant to have a nice date.
