I do know that in some states if someone who is HIV-positive purposely spits on or bites another person it can be classified as assault with a deadly weapon. Hell, in Texas I remember in the news there was a HIV-positive guy who bit someone and was charged with something like bioterrorism.

i believe in some states there is a law that says a hiv possitive person must inform there parter and if they dont they can indeed be charged with a crime if that person has unprotected sex with the disese. i forget wich states atm
