I'm just excited about an Excalibur film! If Ritchie was on it, the grittier arcs that involve Wisdom could really well.
But I would like to see more of the orginal crew and the 1st new guys such as Rachel Grey, Cerise, Sefton and Lockheed is a must!
Oh and there is no point in making an Excalibur film if Captain Britain is not part of it.

This has got me very excited..I know a rumour only, but hell yeah.
I don't think Psylocke should be in it, cameo or not. She has had very little to do with Excalibur (vol 1 cause its the only good volume) if they add characters, they should go with Wisdom, Meggan, Sefton and others that have not been in an X-movie yet (unfortorunately that means no Nightcrawler (although they could make out he went back to Europe but thats a long shot and Cummings wouldn't do it.), Colussus or Shadowcat)
And no, he is not a mutant but that didn't stop them making Juggernaut a mutant.
Oh the background they could do...damn imagine if Jamie was the bad guy.....ooh the Soul Sword arc...The excitement!

Git it in one...top choice. Neal McDonough and has the ability to pull it off.

@Lustwish: Don't tease me now...Is there really talk of a Capt Brit flick?!

Hmm the more I think about it (and maybe the more beer drank), Arcade would be a great flick villain.

The traps, the sacrifices.....would be a mix of Cube and Saw.  Murderworld on the big screen, ahh the effects, the gadgets!

But it would only work if they don't reboot the franchise. You need to have develop 'feelings' for the characters.........I do get the feeling that no one remembers/knows who Arcade is though.
Any thoughts?

I hunted down and bought the complete 1990s series on VHS and now I have them on DVD....so I would have to say....Evolution is my fav....yeah right
X-Men original by far is my favourite, followed by Wolverine and the X-men with Evolution trailing behind.

Ok what do you define as Street Level Villain? I thought it was no powers as such (mutant magic etc) So my defination, Sabretooth is out for example.

Bullseye is my choice as he is just having fun when killing.

Both are powered by their confidence. Lose their confidence they fall down. So the question is, who loses their confidence 1st?
Then it comes down why they fight.
To save England, Capt wins every time.
To save the Shiar, Gladiator wins every time.
Neutral fighting ground....Cap wins. He is better at the mind games to slip doubt into Gladiator's head.

David Goyer has left FlashForward to start writing Batman 3....
Jonah Nolan will help with writing....

Enough news from the superhero side of Hollywood has surfaced to warrant a mini-update ranging from solid intel to what appears to be logical assumptions. I'll begin with the "logical assumption" generated from Deadlinewhere Nikki Finke reports David Goyer has left his duties as showrunner on ABC's "FlashForward" to begin writing Batman 3, the third Batman installment with director Chris Nolan's brother Jonah. Finke quotes a statement made by Goyer saying, "As my feature projects have started ramping up again, I felt I was being pulled in too many directions. I'm proud of ["FlashForward"] and excited about the relaunch. It's in great hands."

I did check to see if this was posted already but found nothing.
