Oh good. Calling the guy 'James' and giving him that silly pointless origin of his Canadian upbringing was not needed. I mean, who would think of something like? Surely not in the comic books. :)
Yes, they used to do fill-in issues in comics when a comic artist got over-worked. It wasn't all bad, especially if the writing was there. Ofcourse, Capullo used to do Spawn monthly and his style was 'draw every little detail before McFarlane inks over it'. I can't believe he put that book out on time. His simpler stuff in Batman is actually even better in my book.
X-Men Legacy is still going to be around? Good, that means my X-Men 1 B cover is still worth something. About $3.00 I think. :)
Boy, JRJR gets a lot of slams these days. Maybe his artwork isn't as slick as it used to be, but I remember a time when it was great. His Daredevil stuff and his Ben Reilly stuff. As for Bagley, who didn't love the Thunderbolts?
I loved reading this book. The fact that Batman and that Owl guy were having a conversation with a jet engine nearby and could still hear each other didn't matter to me it was that cool.
After I read issue #2 of Civil War, the series became a big 'put on' to me. I couldn't buy into it at all. It's like they didn't even think the series out after that.
