Hal Jordan beat Silver Surfer 5-3

She-Hulk beat Hawkgirl 5-3

Steel beat Iron Man 5-3

Green Arrow beat Hawkeye 5-3

Raven stomped Susan Storm 6-2

Starfire destroyed Gambit 8-0

Iceman stomped Mr. Freeze 7-1

Human Torch stomped Fire 7-1

These winners will go on to fight in Round 2, but not yet. Round 1 isn't even over! Part 3 will consist of the following battles:

Cyborg vs. Collosus- A member of the Teen Titans who can create hundreds of weapons through his robotic arm versus a mutant and member of the X-Men who can turn his skin into metal.

Terra vs. The Thing- aTen Titan who turned out to be a spy for Deathstroke with earth powers battles a member of the Fantastic Four with rocky skin and a size XXXXXL tee shirt.

Tim Drake vs. Bucky Barnes- Everyone knows the boy wonder Robin, Batman's sidekick, but you may not have heard of his opponent Bucky Barnes, Captain America's kid sidekick from the 40's.

Jason Todd vs.Nick Fury- The ressurrected second Robin who became the Red Hood will fight the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the man who brought the Avengers together.

Plastic Man vs. Mr. Fantastic- A former criminal, Patrick O'Brian is now a hero that can stretch his body into any imaginable form, much like his first opponent this tournament, Reed Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four, who can also stretch his body like plastic.

Deathstroke vs. Deadpool- Both mercenaries, one a big villian in the DC universe who has mastered nearly every weapon known to man, the other known as the "merc with a mouth", an anti-hero in the Marvel universe who has regeneration powers much like Wolverine, and can teleport like Nightcrawler.

Black Lightning vs. Storm- Jefferson Michael Peirce, a hero who fights for justice with his electricity based powers, or a mutant member of the X-Men who also fights for good with her capabilities to control all types of weather? It's up to you.

Captain Marvel vs. Thor- Billy Batson, a kid deemed worthy of the powers of the ancient wizard Shazam, now able to transform himself into the World's Mightiest Mortal, Captain Marvel, battles the Norse god of thunder and member of the Avengers, Thor!

Sunday, July 7th, the results were:

Superman beat Cyclops 7-1

Wonder Woman beat Jean Grey 5-3

Batman beat Captain America 6-2 (I assume he knocked away his shield)

Daredevil and Nightwing fought a tough one, tying 4-4. However, I called the winner on ths one as Daredevil

Spiderman surprisingly beat Superboy 6-2

Beastboy destroyed Toad (As I knew he would) 8-0

Wolverine beat Lobo 6-2

Doomsday defeated Hulk 5-3

These heroes will go on to fight in Round 2, but not yet. Round 1 isn't even over yet. The battle has just begun. Today, the fighters will be:

Hal Jordan vs. Silver Surfer- The first human Green Lantern battles against the former slave to Galactus, who granted him the power of cosmic energy.

Hawkgirl vs. She-Hulk- Two very strong women, one the re-incarnated spirit of Chay-Ara, with wings and a mace, the other a cousin to Bruce Banners, who gave her some of his own blood, ultimately transforming her into She-Hulk.

Steel(John Henry Irons) vs. Iron Man- A man with a bulletproof suit that mimicks Superman's powers, and a hammer, versus a billionaire playboy that spends his days saving the city in a suit of iron.

Green Arrow vs. Hawkeye- Both are highly trained archers, one left stranded on an island, and survived using a makeshift bow. The other is a military trained member of the Avengers.

Raven vs. Susan Storm- The daughter of Trigon with magical powers battles the wife of Reed Richards who gained the powers to create forcefields and turn invisible through a spaceship launch gone wrong.

Starfire vs. Gambit- A former member of the Teen Titans and warrior princess, or a gambling, master thie4f turned X-man with kinetic powers? Your choice.

Mr. Freeze vs. Iceman- A scientist who lost his wife, turned to a villian of Batman's with an ice cold heart and freeze ray versus Bobby Drake, a mutant and member of the X-men with ice powers.

Fire vs. The Human Torch- Former president of the Wayne Enterprises' Brazilian branch with obvious fire powers fights Johnny Storm, member of the Fantastic Four, who also has fire powers.

Superman vs. Cyclops- both have heat ray vision, but the other also can fly, has X-ray vision, super hearing, super speed, ice cold breath, and super strength!

Wonder Woman vs. Jean Grey- An Amazon, and the daughter of Athena, versus a mutant with telekenetic powers so strong she has once killed Proffessor X!

Batman vs. Captain America- A hero trained by ninjas, with some of the most advanced technology of the age, or a strong muscled, as well as strong hearted superhuman with an invincible sheild? You decide!

Nightwing vs. Daredevil- Both have the same weapons, but one was trained by Batman with some of his equipment, while the other is blind with echolocation. A tough fight.

Superboy vs. Spiderman- A teenage Superman versus a funny teen with the powers of a spider.

Beast Boy vs. Toad- A kid with the power to turn into all beasts, or a teen with the popwers (and looks) of a toad?

Lobo vs. Wolverine- An alien bounty hunter with some anger problems and a chain, versus a short-tempered unaging man with unbreakable claws and regeneration powers.

Doomsday vs. Hulk- Both are huge creatures of strength, but one is an alien that has killed Superman, while the other is a radioactive scientist (that needs anger management, may I add) that has TRIED to kill Superman.
