Hal and Ollie had it right when they decided to take a more pro-active approach to heroism. Sometimes, you can't just wait for the world to be in danger before you jump into action. Just as long as you understand that there -is- a line you can't cross.

When it comes right down to it, the League is unstoppable. You can systematically go through and kill every last member (Assuming you're strong enough to beat powerhouses like Wonder Woman and Superman, or can even find ALL of the members), and it won't change the fact that, eventually, somebody is going to step up to fill the shoes. The JLA has left it's mark, and it's never going away.

Once I got into high school, I got seriously caught up in the whole Anime Fad. Everything was about Anime, Japan, Manga. Around my senior year, I managed to come across Teen Titans vol 3, #1. And it brought me back to the world I'd grown up in, the world of DC. With a group of young, relatable heroes that have to work that much harder to achieve victory, it made for a dynamic that instantly had me hooked.
