“I’m so freaken late!” Hi_Voltage spoke as she walked as quickly as she could down the halls in uniform.

“Shhhh!” HV hushed the two as she took out the earpiece from her ear and tucked it away as she walked into the room where all the other diamonds were at.

She saw Connor and Alex there, and other faces she wasn’t familiar with. She gave an apologetic look to the group as she pulled up a seat. It sounded like they were talking about activities they could do at the Academy. Either for their class only or for the school as a whole. She sat there, thinking. Sure her school had a bunch of activities, but those kids also didn’t have super powers.

She listened as some gave their own thoughts. Some were good, some… kinda eeehh but it was hard to say what activities would be fun for a group of teenagers with powers. The talent show sound like fun… if you had a talent. Not a superhero talent, but a natural talent. She wouldn’t be able to join cause… well… she didn’t really have a talent. Well… she could eat/drink anything cold really fast and not get a brain freeze but… what kind of talent was that really? As for competitions… well… there was already a lot of tension in the classes, would a competition really help?

“Um…” Hi-Voltage began, wanting to speak up. “Well… we're Diamonds right? I know I'm new, but feel like as Diamonds we kinda have a responsibility to be a positive example to others. Soooooo what if we do something as a collective school that helps raise money for something? Like… well… a children's hospital or something? We can do something like… ‘Super Day’. We can go into the city, set up at a park and have fun activities for kids like… ‘Race with a Speedster’.” She would motion to Alex. “Or arm wrestle with Kid Superion’” she would motion to him. “The other classes could get involve too like… we can have a dunk tank, kids vs super tug of war where we let the kids win of course, you know… little things like that. That way we can officially introduce ourselves into the community and we can build trust with them as well as raise money for a good cause.”

He not only followed her while she was trying to get some distance away, but he wouldn’t stop talking and he spoke so fast, it was hard to even understand what he was saying. “Just-just stop! Please.” she finally snapped at him. “Stop talking about eels and whatever else the heck it is you’re saying.” She let out a heavy sign, running her fingers through her dark brown hair. “I’ll figure out my powers on my own. I’ve gotten this far already.” She was adamant when she spoke, holding one hand out to him to keep a distance between the two. “Just, stop trying to explain whatever it is you’re saying, it’s not helping.”

Just then another student, one built like a brick, walked up to the two of them. But even though he was built to take down a tank, he seemed more down to Earth than Alex and much more simple, which is exactly what she needed.

"I'm Shawn. This your first day? Haven't seen you hear before".

She didn’t even get to introduce herself, or even shake Shawn’s hand. Nope, Alex butted in and took it upon himself to not only introduce her, but pull Shawn away and speak about her privately before she could even get a word in. Her eyes were filled with irritation. Not only did he speak about himself 90% of the time but he spoke non-sense and was speaking as if she wasn't even there.

“I’m over this.” she mumbled as she began to walk away. “I need to get the hell out of here.” She whispered to herself as she began walking away while Alex was busy talking, again. As she turned the corner she walked into the first room she could. It looked to be some sort of study hall, and no one was in it. So she closed her eyes and zzzzit golden electric sparks covered her body for a second, and the moment they faded, a young, blonde teen was seen standing. Not Hi-Voltage, but Lavina. She was smaller, a lot smaller, standing only at five feet even where as Hi-Voltage stood at 5'11". She was also no where near athletic build like HV. She was thin, but had no muscle build like Voltage. Even their voices were different. The only thing they had in common, was their blue eyes.

She let out a heavy sigh, even Daniel and Michael were completely silent right now. “I’ll talk to you guys later.” She spoke as she removed her ear piece and tucked it in her pocket before she opened the door and walked out in the opposite direction Shawn and Alex were. She needed to explore without anyone getting weird with her. Or try to explain marine life to her.

Levina stayed quiet as he talked. She tried to pay attention to everything he was saying, but his explanation didn’t make any sense to her. Why was he giving her a detailed explanation of his powers? She watched him phase through a wall, yeah it was impressive, but now with everything he was doing, it felt like he was showing off between the changing and now this. What was going on? Things were beginning to get overwhelming for her.

Then he stated explaining something about electric eels? Her face twisted with confusion. She wasn’t understanding anything he was explaining to her. Maybe this was a mistake. And him walking into a weird room that suddenly shift to some dark field with a lake was the cherry on top. Levina shook her head as she backed away from the BFT, not even stepping in with him. “Oh hell no...” she then held up her hands in defense, becoming overwhelmed by everything that was happening at once and it showed. “I don't know who you think I am, but this got waaaaaaaaaay too weird for me too fast. It’s only my first day and you’re talking about multiverses and your origin story and your dad and electric eels and now you want to fight me in some weird room, with thunder and a lake, no way. I didn't ask for this. I wanted pointers, not whatever this is.” She her hands motioned to the room as shook her head while she walked out clearly not ok with what was happening.

"This place was a mistake." She spoke out to what may have appeared to be no one, but she was talking to Micheal and Daniel on the other end of her ear piece. "I'm going home and I'll figure sh!t out on my own."

"Yeah, I know, I know." She spoke, clearly frustrated. "I just... this is too much. I'm only 17. I didn't even want these powers. Then when I asked for pointers they want to chuck me in some weird room with a guy who gets his powers for multiverses." She spoke in a hush tone so only her friends could hear her. "I just want to go home and eat pizza and finish watching Stranger Things with my two best friends."

Levina stopped walking and leaned against the wall, letting out a sigh as she nod her head. "Ok." She murmured.

Albert never answered Levi’s question. Maybe he was shy? Or just didn’t trust her. He seemed like a nice kid. Maybe she should just keep her distance with the kid for now until he seemed more comfortable with her.

“Five of us? Nice. So each class does activities together? Such as what?” The trio walked down the hall. “We can have the meeting whenever you want, I’m ready when you are.” She gave a smile. “I do better when I just dive into things.”

Levi struggled to keep a light chuckle from escaping as she brought her hand to her lips, clearing her throat, trying to keep herself collected with the two boys.

As they stopped in front of a door she was told it was the one to her own room. Her own room? Wait… she was going to be staying here? “Awesome.” Her eyes looked over at Connors door, it was literally across from hers. “Thanks for showing me to my room Conner. I think I’m going to settle in and just… relax for the night. Maybe tomorrow?” She then looked down at Albert. “And you’re more than welcome to join us!” She smiled down at him.

Her face scrunched up when talk of multiverse began. What the hell was he talking about? What even was that? He talked... a lot. Reminded her of Daniel and Micheal. Did all guys talk that much?

“I don’t think staying away is helping, you seem more relaxed now walking and talking to me. I think isolating yourself is just going to make it that much harder for you to interact with people when you actually do.” She gave a light shrug of her shoulders as she looked over at him. And I don’t know about that training… sounds… and looks pretty brutal. The change of his cloths didn’t really phase her. I mean… she transformed into an entirely different person when she used her powers.

It was getting harder and harder ignoring what Michael and Daniel were saying, and getting harder and harder not to laugh.

“Pointers would be great. I’ve only started a few months ago. I have some friends who are trying to help but… this is the first time I’ve actually come in contact with other heroes or just super powered beings in general.” She admitted. “I’m still trying to get the hang of my powers. Sometimes they short circuit in water… I learned that the hard way…” She lowered her head, a little embarrassed from what she just said.
