A request for discussion, nothing more.

I would like to find a specific kind of comics fan, because I have some questions. I want to talk to someone who read and liked preboot Teen Titans (and maybe Young Justice) and who enjoyed Red Robin. But they also need to enjoy the New52 run of Teen Titans.

I know how this might sound, but it is a legitimate question; I need to know why. I don’t want to argue or even tease, since I know that my opinions are just that and have no basis or right to go about changing someone else’s. But I need to know the reasoning behind thinking that it’s a good title. I would just like to hear their side on it all, that’s it.

Full disclosure here - I am not a fan of Lobdell. I do not like the New52 Teen Titans. I will admit that (in the amount that I read) I liked Bunker enough to not want to scream, which is saying something. And I did try to give it a shot. But it did not work out. I would like to know why it worked out for other readers.

I really don’t think this is going to get any responses, but still. I thought I’d try.

Again, I’m not trying to tease anyone’s taste. I just want to know.

Comic Book Day 09/05/2012

Today’s tiny little haul.

Okay, can I just say - I love the Night of Owls stuff. I’m a huge fan of the Gotham that Snyder paints and I just plain enjoy seeing all of the Batfamily in peril and being fiercely protective of their little corner of vigilante-ism. I can’t wait for the rest. I know a lot of people aren't into it but I adored every panel of Gates of Gotham and this just feels like the spiritual sibling to that series.

Since I also pick up Teen Titans but nothing else in the ‘teen superhero’ line-up since the third week last September, I was debating picking up Legion Lost and Superboy to keep up with the Culling storyline but thankfully my housemate picks those up. Bonus!
