Well some peeps are being some Negative Nancys lol
Haven_'s forum posts
"And I've been using my blade every day sence its conception. Experience is not measured by time. And experience alone does not equal better." Her posture laxed however she was purely just curious and didn't want to sour the mood. Though it may have been to late for that. Riza wasn't fond of saying time spent or feats she preferred to simply witness what was possible. It was perhaps her greatest flaw, an adventurous spirit that'd rather jump into threats and see what happens. Talking was as compelling as combat to her.
"Please don't take my faults or perspective as reluctance I'd still be honored to view the artifact." Noticing the slight expression Riza reached out with her mind feeling the psychic and physical disturbance to the rather quiet region. She tried not to be invasive just to find minds. Her TK didn't disturb the soil just focused on identifying where pressure was on the soil. "Well that's good, I'd feel terribly akward if I was familiar with it." She didn't put that concern ever off the table given Coven's foul temper at times. "Your the familiar here I'll let you call the shots."
"Perhaps we need to remedy that?" Riza's muscles tensed starting to gear up for a duel. Despite a spike in tension though her attitude was still serene she wasn't harboring ill intentions. "By now my end objective has been painted. The reality is this universe is bleeding I even here rumors that in the distance a war has begun to spread do to a series of temporal abominations. One can not hope to unite this universe if they can not hold their own." Her hand gently clasped the strap that hugged the staff to her slender build. Ready to turn it to it's double bladed saber if need be.
"I believe there to be more to the galaxies then just one artifact. Call it what you wish I believe other sections of the universe will have similar concepts. However knowledge won't come through turning away. I'd be honored Viridian if you'd start me on the path of this particular force. The cosmic flow is a rich sea we've only explored the surface of." Her feet instinctively carried her towards the temples the energies tied to who the two were providing a silent guide.
@viridian_: (well of course I'm gona keep it going ;) just saying between other alts n RL sometimes I'm not the fastest)
"You can relax if I wanted to start something we'd already here the humming blades from this staff and a beautiful ship might be harmed." Riza remarked seeing the movement for the iconic lightsaber. She took a position by the man's side as she walked looking to say she was equal and friend with her body language as she walked leaving the hanger. "And it's my first time here so I'm not sure who's the best guide for the day." She remarked to Viridian in his response about his time away. "That all said I don't need to search for purpose. The Covenant wishes to see the Galaxy unified I couldn't ask for a better calling." It was arguably foolish ambition to think one could unite the cosmos but that didn't change the stance for the collection of hopeful guardians.
@viridian_: (sorry for slight delay >.> so many alts about lol)
She couldn't help but smile at the remark on its rarity, to her every ship was such a thing. Deriving from earth she'd grown up listening to Madame Coven tell of such alien craft traversing the heavens. Despite not being well informed of the space ships of the universe however she could still tell this one had a history. By the sounds of it so to did its pilot. Riza's attire was a mix of wraps and robes comfortable in both warm environments where it'd hang loosely and able to be tightened and warming in the cold. Besides beauty she looked ordinary, the way of the Covenant crafted a vanity to her that gave her strong confidence and a hint of an egotistic pride. Her staff however did stand out, an odd choice of weapon. Practitioners of the cosmic arts though likely could tell it contained the energy blades popularized in a time long forgoten.
Despite this being her first encounter with an alien she didn't stare showcasing respect and honor. Her eyes gleamed with innocence yes but she was a far cry from acting uncivilized. "Don't apologize for who you are just know it should pale to who you'll become." The melded teachings of the Covenant was one that embraced acomplishment but asked that one strive to go beyond them. "Indeed it pulled me here, but of course one planet alone can't hold my attention. Humbling as it will be to see the artifact it's far more rewarding to meet its familiars such as you. Each one of us gives me greater hope for the cosmos."
@nikademus: I feel the same do wish Spain was showcased more there was and is a lot of potential there. But I do understand why it hasn't as well. There's to try and put it simply, an element of exclusivity. Which isn't a bad thing and it might be misguided, but I do feel that it's there
If Riza was the one to have summoned the Artifact user she would encounter soon it was unintentional. In all likelihood he was probably called by another, for Riza was as familiar as she was alien. The Covenant was neither of a past or present perception of the future but rather its own. And if one asked the Covenant they would say they were simply the future, the next step in bringing the universe together. Idealistic and perhaps beyond posibility but still what the Covenant desired particularly the woman who called herself Haven.
A ship comes to port it's design some what old. To Riza however it read more however of history by power or just a passionate eye she didn't see a relic but something of beauty. And the alien to venture from it only aided the matter, he felt more committed to the principles then those around. Followers were many but not every follower was sharing of equal devotion. It fealt mandatory to get to know this man, and his choice of transportation only made it more so. Still filled with spirit however young and eyes bright her entrance was far from regal or common.
Rather she ran and her feet carry her at a pace beyond what physical capacity should allow. Restraint was a practice but in the moment it was cast away for jubilation. Her hands lovingly touched the side of the Tusk, and Riza couldn't help but reach out touching the cosmic threads of the universe in hopes of learning the story hidden in the scars and marred paint. Turning abruptly blue eyes briefly glanced down before she gave a respectful bow. "Apologies. Riza Cloudrun apprentice to Lady Coven of the Covenant."
Lady Coven had arrived to the tranquil planet in a far more startling fashion apart of her darker side leading to actions that lashed against the worlds conventions. Riza knew this, for Coven was always as passionate as she was intense. What the Covenant sought was a unification of the Galaxy at large, to bridge the divides and part the squabbling actions of the countless races. War wasn't about the length or who fought, it was but clashing ideals that was infectious. Nearly all worlds had been hit by such ailment, nearly every race lashed out at others and eachother. The Covenant looked for that to fade, no method to extreme if the result was peace. So Riza came to this world, as one of the first she'd try to begin to sway into a peace bringing faction that would span the Galaxy.
Her ship landed by protocol in proper place, she let the people know she was one touched by the cosmic forces that had been sweeping the cosmos. Call the power and it's servants what you wish the people of this world would know from the start that Riza was capable of those mystic feats. What came next however was the part she was most excited for however. Uncovering how this peaceful world would react and more importantly seeing if it was a planet needing protection or one that could take action.
(>.> nothing flashy but figured it didn't need to be)
"Only by vague definition of what else to call it." The soft spoken apprentice countered. There was a gravitas telling Riza the new acquaintance believed in his actual claim. It bothered Riza for if it was true then why wasn't the planet being seized? Why then was a god getting a drink at some bar meant for more low budget celebration of this planets favorite sport. "We've seen self proclaimed gods, and they're matched by mortals of unique genetics. Perhaps they're not true gods but that's the concept painted and it's an inferior vision."
Elaboration was a relative concern, who was she to detail the ways of the Covenant. She a student as opposed to the honest master of the arts. "If you mean ones power I imagine it's no different then your own in accessibility. Naturally however the more it's used, the more you want to claim all of its potential the greater one becomes. If you mean the Covenant the vision is to claim all the Galaxy as our own. The universe isn't fair, to make it so any action I believe is justified. Regretfully I've not the liberty to tell all given again I'm but the student."
