Well, spiders are weavers, so it sort of makes sense that he would be good at making his own costume. He could get a job as a tailor, or repair other people's costumes as a side job.
Well Selena and Zatanna have always been my top two for Bruce, I have to admit im on the fence about wonder woman, it could work but DC is probably too scared to actually go through with it.
@King Saturn: I wouldnt worry too much about that. I think that people are seeing her for what she really is, a fame-hungry opportunist that will say outlandish things for attention. Perhaps if we stop listening to her, then she'll go away.
Well, lately I have been getting into the legion of superheroes. Im going to buy the great darkness saga before I jump into the new run by paul levitz. I honestly didnt think I would like them so much, its like the x-men but less messy and convoluted, which is something I can appreciate.
I have to admit, I want to like the x men I really do, but they give me a headache, and Jean is one of the biggest reasons. With Jean, its either the love triangle between her, logan, and scott (well since emma's around its more like a square) or the increasingly annoying phoenix force. How can development be possible if the writers and editors are constantly catering to the people that want everything to go back to 1995? There's always back collections to read for those that long for nostalgia, but for the rest of us, we just want to move on.
I thought the pilot was excellent, now I just have to wait until january. And reading some of the comments, I wonder, what did fanboys do before the internet?
I stopped reading single issues and switched to reading trades for financial reasons. I dont mind having to wait for stories, trades have more re-read value than single issues and they are also more durable. I also get to pick the storylines I like to read and skip over ones I dont like.
I understand where babs is coming from, most people probably feel that batman work best from the shadows. I did too for a while, but now, thinking about this in depth, perhaps bruce realizes that just being an urban legend isnt enough. For the longest time, he has been wageing a war on crime, but in order to fight a war, you need an army. To me thats what Batman Inc. is, an international strike force of "batmen" that are ready at his beck and call.
