@achillesspawn: Why is it pis? Why the fuck would Superman try and dodge bullets? He's Superman.

If I was a criminal that's actually how I would kill him. Go to Lex. Get some K. Put it in a machine gun and pepper his ass up. He wouldn't know until the bullets hit.

It's because he makes for great horror. The implications of Superman are fucking terrifying.

The only person that comes close is Martian Manhunter. But that is cliche.

Plus, the point of J'onn is that he looks like a monster but is the exact opposite.

Clark looks like the perfect man. So the impact hits harder when the mask drops.

@yunobogoronhero: Yeah, but Agatha wasn't even looking in that direction. Who was the Illusion for? The Audience?

@ravenvice01: Actually they explained in the episode that introduced Monica, that the citizens from surrounding towns were given a form of amnesia that would not allow them to see or even believe it existed, even though they can clearly see the town and sign.

"This isn't a mission persons case Captain Rambeu, it's a missing town". Also you were right, Jimmy say's you get this feeling that you're not supposed to go in.

Because he's Lex Luthor. Or are you asking what has he done to be considered so smart?

Jack Russell woke up with a start. Sweat dripping from his brow. His hair a wild mane of tangles and seemingly unkempt strands.

He'd had the dream again. Or, more accurately, the nightmare.

The one he'd had every night since his arrival in his native Transylvania a week ago.

The one where he watched the love of his life fall victim to the dark kiss. The seduction of the Vampire.

But Vampire's and the evil that they invoked is why he'd come to Europe from California in the first place. A letter in the mail. One directed to him, asking for assistance in the return of possibly the greatest evil of all.

Dracula.

What bothered Jack wasn't the letter. Hell, it wasn't even the dreams that wrecked his sleep every night.

It was that nobody other than his sister Lissa had any clue where he was. Or at least, no one should have. His lifestyle and his.... condition. Were not very supportive of close friends and family. What little one's he did have were avoided for their own safety. Not just from the enemies he'd made over the years; but from himself.

From the beast that resided deep within his soul.

Jack Russell was a Werewolf. Forever cursed to live monster inside of him. And although he'd gained some control over his beastial half. There was still the fear that, there would never be enough of it.

The control that is.

A first class ticket to Romania was also attached to the letter. There were no airstrips in Translavia.

The locals preferring the simplicity of the old ways. At least, that was the excuse. Jack assumed it had something to do with all the damn Vampire running around.

The occasional Lycanthrophe too.

But when the dreams came his first night in country. Of his former confidant and lover, ritualistically strapped to a stoned table in front of a silver haired demon with gleaming black and red armor, and glowing eyes of crimson.

He knew one thing for sure. Topaz was connected to all this.

Somehow...

Sitting up in the now drenched bed, in the small hostel he'd checked into upon arrival, Jack reached for the bottle of whiskey sat upon his bedside table. Not even bothering to pure a bit into one of the complimentary glasses that came with it. He turned it up and poured the burning liquid down his throat.

The heat hit hard. So too did the drunkenness. For about several seconds. Unfortunately it was nearly impossible for Jack to be affected by alchohol.

No matter how much he drank.

"Goddamnit" Jack said as he placed the nearly empty bottle down. "I need some air."

Climbing out of bed. He headed to his bathroom, took care of the basics, and dressed as quickly as he could. Choosing a white tee shirt, faded blue jeans, and a pair of Nike Dunks. Then he headed for the door.

As it swung open, he was met by a familiar face.

One he'd sooner forget. One that had been attached to trouble everytime he'd seen it.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

The black woman on the other side of the door, whom had been in the process of knocking, greeted the aggressiveness of the question with a smile.

"Good to see you too Jack." She responded. Her eyes never leaving the man eyes. "May I come in. We have buisness to discuss. I'd assume, you'd not like your neighbors to overhear anything... sensitive."

"Yeah, you're right. Like me tearing out your spleen" Jack answered.

Moving to the side to allow the woman in. Almost immediately his sense of smell assaulted by scent of Wolfsbane and Mountain Ash. Forcing the Wolfman to stumble back her slightly.

The bitch had come prepared. Then again he wasn't surprised. One did not call oneself "The Queen Of Werewolves" and not have proper knowledge of how to combat them.

The woman known as Nightshade was a former geneticist with a rather unhealthy fascination with Lycan's of all types. Her favorite of course was Jack himself.

More times than he could count. The woman now standing in his room had either tried to enslave or seduce him.

Viewing his pure blood birth as a sign of his genetic superiority. Even amongst the genetically superior.

A 'Real Werewolf.' As it were.

"So, to what do I owe the displeasure of you're visit. Just brown nosing or did you want to count down the minutes before I tried killing you?" Asked Jack. The hint of a growl on his lips. Apparently his wolf hated her just as much.

"Actually Jack, I'm not here to fight. In fact, who do you think sent for you?"

"So you sent the ticket Shade? Why?"

She walked to the end of the small room, sitting at an even smaller table near his bed, and placed a single page, of what appeared to be aged paper down on the table. "Because I need you're help Jack. And so does you're little girlfriend."

Jack felt rage bubble up inside of him. He hadn't even closed the door when she entered his room, now he was slamming it shut. "I swear on whatever God you believe in, if you've hurt Topaz, I'll.."

"I haven't done anything. But the Vampire nation is planning too."

"Dracula..."

Nightshade nodded. "I know where their holding her. She then pointed a finger towards the paper she'd placed on his bedroom dining table. "And this is what they want."

She stood up. Leaving behind the ancient page and seductively walking towards the man, whom had every right to want her dead. "Now let me tell you what I want..."

To Be Continued.
