This guy shows up on a couple of most worthless superpowers list apparently he is also named Captain Marvel. Detaching his limbs is apparently his only ability.

Lmao! I've never seen this guy before. That's hilarious

There are many ways to write a story to get the same effect , but without actually killing the character for good. That way you don't have to make up some bs time travel story every time they are wanted back. Make it appear as if they might have died, but leave the possibility open for their return. Or maybe the person that you were led to believe died was actually a different person, that way there was actually a death , just not the one that you thought.

Sells comics, and occasionally it makes that particular event impactful. Some events, in a vacuum, are more dramatic when a character dies.

I understand that, and it works. It's just a bit overdone. Sometimes instead of killing a main character they could just make us wonder if they are dead or not. I think you could get the same dramatic impact by actually killing a less favorable character.

It is pretty much a fact that in the comic book world that when a popular or main character dies, they never stay dead. They always end up returning somehow. Which after so many times, becomes pointless. So you know how there are unfavorable or, less popular characters that were created that have literally disappeared from comics and will most likely never return. If they want to kill some one off so bad , doesn't it only make sense that these characters should be the ones to kill off for good instead of a mainstay character?

What's up with iron man's armor? Those feet are hideous. Looks like a total anime design.

It would most likely take him years to find or invent something that could destroy it. Or he would use someone else with magical capabilities to help him destroy it.
