But this requires to have a god status like the Kai which neither Goku and Vegeta don't have. Trunks is a Hybrid Saiyan and Hybrid have more potential.

Like how Gohan ,goten ,trunks obtain SSj Transformation at much younger age.

So trunks being really strong makes sense.

It's the same when Gohan unlock the ssj2 Transformation during the cell saga.

This also explains why Zamasu fussion was unstable .

Zamasu has a status of God and plus Immortality while Goku black is still a mortal which most likey makes unstable fussion.

If you notice the side merge Zamasu with time ring was taken damage and not regenerating as the immortal size.

This also confirm my speculation that merge Zamasu isn't strong as Beerus.

So everything does make sense.

This will also explain why Vegito defuse in dragon Ball z .
