The Evraykin

The Evraykin are an race of reptilian imperialists living in a star system just outside our own, their species originating from Saturn before it was a gas giant. They have become a major force in the universe, with their structured Military, sound economy, and honorable culture. They are highly respected as a Empire, and have spread their influence in the universe far and wide. Below is technical information centering around them.
Culture-
The Evraykin are ever expanding, and always take opportunities to explore and claim new land. Which often leads to meetings and deals with other empires, to ensure that they are permitted to pass through their boundaries (though most empires wouldn't risk saying no to a Evraykin official). Their culture centers itself around public service. They believe the good of the family, community, military, and nation as a whole to be more important than any individuals needs. Leaders will have votes on any changes to see what their people think before making anything permanent. They are honorable in this way, though to some they are just 'ignorant'. These ideas are burned into a Evraykin's brain, so every Evraykin tends to have some version of it. The most disrespectful thing to do, as a Evraykin, is to lie. It's seen as turning your back on the Race, and they will publicly outcast anyone that says a lie that has a lasting affect.
Military/Combat-
The Evraykin are known for their highly adaptive abilities on the battlefield. They can turn from a Blitzkrieg to Guerrilla Warfare, and from Skirmishing to infiltration. Their advanced logic processing is a compliment to these abilities. They rarely do not have answers to situations, and will always be focused on the main goal while creating plans. Their ships, like most advanced races, are highly advanced, equipped with energy fields as standard. Their weaponized ships usually consist of heavily manned cruisers, with dozens of thousands of small A.I. vehicles swarming around them. These A.I. can attack any small objects that enter the ship's vicinity (I.E. meteors, space trash) but are mostly for repairs and checks. These cruisers carry small armies-worth of ships, always equipped for any situation. Fighters, bombers, carriers, you name it. These ships are less protected and have no A.I. to repair them, but are manned.
Biology-
Evraykin are cold-blooded reptilians, somewhere on the evolutionary scale near raptors. Their hands and feet are clawed, and their Exoskeleton can deflect small shrapnel explosions (though they aren't bullet-proof). They have highly advanced sight, being able to see through a Thermal-style vision whenever they please. Their exoskeleton is metallic and reflect light. This is sometimes an annoying feature in certain situations (not commonly). They live around the same span as humans due, are highly resistant to disease and biological warfare, and are physical superiors to humans in most every way possible.
Origin-
The Evraykin originated from Saturn. Before it was a gas giant, Saturn was a livable planet with sources of water and oxygen. The Evraykin were very advanced at the time they lived on Saturn, somewhere to the scale of being how humans are now. However, this seemingly was the reason their time on Saturn ended. Though it's unknown exactly what they did to cause it, all the water on Saturn mixed with an unidentified chemical, presumably one being used to make weapons, and evaporated completely, forming the gasses that cover Saturn's surface. It's also been proven that Saturn's rings were originally part of it's physical surface. Whether or not this was also caused by the Evraykin's actions on the planet is unknown.
Science/Technology-
Though they aren't quite interested in inventing, the Evraykin have absorbed several races into their fold that have such technological benefits, and have learned from them for the better. Their trading and exploration is what has led to most of their scientific abilities and technologies. They have contributed to science in the form of being used as a model for their amazing disease resistance in a way to make medicines for other races not as biologically gifted.
