lets get rid of a few people frist so goodbye Jan and hanks, straight out the window. Spiderman can go as well, hell lets just take apart the whole damn team, recently the current Avengers have let down the world  few time as themselves and as their alter ego's. 
 
My new team would be lead by the one man who stuck to his guns , if anyone has the balls and leadership skills to do what needs to be done it's this man.

Of course we need some skill and hand to hand combat, to take spidermans place, this is a tough one for me, I was racking my brains to find someone who would fall in line with the other two and also work well with them. I know he is currently working for Norman and tried to take over the world but he thinks he is doing good.

Also wanted to add someone on a street level someone who could fght the fight but also keep up with te others,

Now no Avengers would be compelte without, as Ares put it the symbols of that team, Like the knight and the shield, symbols of hope and justice, but stark and cap are more leaders now then they are followers,so for my Iron man I picked

and finally the symbol of hope justice, I have always liked Hawkeye and he did fit well in the suit during that one spin off in the civil war, so im going to go with clint wearing Captain America's outfit

But the site was more then that and now has interviews with the likes of Stan lee under their belt, over the last year comic vine has popped up more articles and news about comics then another site I know, there is not a day that goes by where Babs or G-man have not brought something new to the table. Comicvine is more of a large community then just an encyclopedia for comics. Later it also produced a large RPG community and a very large battle forum both of which are highly popular between the users on that site. In general comicvine is much as it sound, the perfect home for comic users, sometimes it is a bit unfriendly towards anime users but this is mainly due to the massive divide between the two groups and the makers of comic vine soon came up with a home for all the anime fans that found there way to Comicvine but im getting a head of myself.

 Giant Bomb: The little sister to comicvine, it has been going for about two years where comicvine focused on comics this site focused on Gamers. Once again Giantbomb is an encyclopedia site but purely just for computer games. If you have an Xbox, PS3 or even a wii this is the site for you, the hottest news and reviews for games is up almost every week. This site is very focused on games and helping in anyway they can with your gamer needs, Looking to start a clan for cod then this is the place to head, they have users who rank for noobs to gods and you can link your achievements accounts to your Giantbomb user name to show off and find out how rare some of the achievements you have actually are. Unlike its other two sister sites giant bomb does not have an RPG community or a battle forum and for good reason they don’t need it, the forums speak for themselves. This is a must for any gamer looking for information on any game. Sadly as I don’t spend much time over on the site I can’t tell you what staff members are really active over there but wait till the end of the blog to read over the THINGS YOU MUST DO WHEN GOING ONTO A NEW SITE.

Just adding this here as I added it on Animevice just for new users so they no we have just as cool site else where!

Well last week we talked about those dangerous species of Fan Boys who plague us from day to day here on the vine. But with the ever growing comic cross over into movies a new breed has began setting the bar even higher for fan boy antics, This breed was once confined to their own realm with very little to do with our own world apart from the odd appearance now and again. For us old enough to remember the first Captain America film and how it was welcomed with open arms by our own community of comic fans I wonder how movie fans welcomed us to their turf, now we are aware that there where movies before the Captain America film but as an Icon he has to understand what he did the good the good old Nazi bashing Captain that he is. I blame him for opening the ninth level of hell and allowing movie fan boys to enter the realm of sanity. But excuse me im getting side tracked, You see Cap started something that was soon put to rest and forgotten about until years later when Batman and Superman both smashed their way onto the big screen and yet again even with the comic book fans backing they vanished and we returned to are peaceful and yet some what ashamed (Batman and Robin) ways and all was silent and good. when Blade made his fang biting appearance on the big screen and this somehow opened the flood gate for a new generation of comic to movie adaption followed by Spiderman, Batman and superman and of course Hulk (did they not learn from the TV series LEAVE IT ALONE) remakes and so many others. Now this is great news and I can tell you are reading this wondering where I am going with all of it so here we come to the world of MOVIE FANBOYS.

Movie Fanboys are a breed all onto themselves, a breed that use the movies as FACTS. I know a lot of you have met them and had to deal with using comic book time lines against that of one in the movies. I once had an interesting all be it short debate with a Hulk Movie Fan Boy who swears by the Ang Lee movie…. Anyway the problem with Movie fan boys is that there is no reasoning with them what so ever. Now they travel in and out of our world all the time with almost no tell tale signs of their coming, usually we can guess (about two days after the opening of a comic movie) But then we are flooded with random but funny interjection into the comic world quotes such as “Juggernaut is a mutant in the movie and British…” But the good ting about these fan boys is that sometimes they are willing to listen to several different people and we may even be able to convert them over to the “comic side”.  
 
 

Now with these two industries playing in each others front yards we do occasionally get the occasional fanatic, none worse then the Twilight groupies or as they like to be called TEAM EDWARD or TEAM JACOB. Now I myself have to admit the book where okay… But lets talk about the super fans and of course the cast, It may just be me or could you land a small plane on Robert Patersons forehead? But it is the over the top fans that cause problems such as Edward Cullen Vs Alucard thread…. I know it hurts to even think about how this could happen and how quickly the battle would end but if your fan boy insanity is high enough you’re going to find away to win. Now some tips on how to deal with the movie fan boy, draw their attention away by talking about another movie, I suggest Taxi Driver, The God Father Trilogy or if that fails bring up the Lord of the ring movies, I warn you mentioning Lord Of The Rings will take the debate into a totally different turn, It could go three ways: One; They will agree with you and talk about how cool Frodo was and how the three films where awesome. Two; They will talk about how much   they missed from the books and Peter Jackson should so just die. Three; WTF LORD OF THE RINGS THERE IS ONLY ONE REAL TRILGOY YOU IDIOT AND THAT’S STAR WARS. If the third reply comes up, Under no circumstance must you mention the fact that another three films where made and that it is in fact not a trilogy… I warn you for your own safety.  
 

Now there has been some adaption from movies into comics, most of these seem to be horror movies! I can not say much about this for fear of my own life but you can pretty much grantee these are crap so stay away, if you do meet a Horror movie fan in the forums just smile and reach slowly…very slowly for the power button on your computer and walk away. Lucky due to their short attention spans they leave pretty quickly so you won’t have to be away for too long. Remember the greatest weapon a comic book fan has against the Movie Fan Boy is simple time, it will only take an hour and a half for you to break them down before they move onto another subject.

What is said in this blog is for fun, if you take offence to it then its probably about you, if you don’t good on you for having a scense of humour.

It's safe to assume that at some point anyone in the battle forums has come across this remark or another! SA SUPERMAN SOLO's, SSJ4 GOKU Stomps! Storm blah blah blah blah. Now is it just me or when I read a title Superman VS Thor and all it says in the OP is Superman and Thor is space (so to speak) that we go with the current Thor or Superman? I always assume this is what the title means or otherwise it would be stated SA Superman Vs Odin Force Thor!! I have seen a lot of unfair battle recently where we have say Classic Thor vs Superman. Now if I remember right Classic Thor can pull of feats that current Thor can't!!! and that leads me to feats, I recently read in a battle thread that Thor could turn Black Adam back into his old self.... Wait run that by me again Thor using his lighting can turn Black Adam back into a mortal. Um no this feat has never been seen or done by Thor the magic in DCU is very different to the magic is MU. Basically what I am ranting about is common sense, if the title say Superman VS Thor then go with current we don't need four pages of one person asking if it is SA Superman, cause if it was he would curb stomp o_o. Just fight the need to find an edge for you're fav character to win and go with what is stated, don't make up feats about how Thor can change someone by his magic when it's never been shown. It's not hard to just read a battle and post in it without so much BS. Oh and telling someone to STFU because you can't debate you're point correctly! just walk away and say you have a different view point, some people just can't be reasoned with (DBZ,Storm) for you're own sanity walk away!

1. I would work in one universe rather then have almost five dirrent one's running at one. 
2. shine the light on the characters that always seem ignored. 
3. Bring back Marvel Knights 
4. Kill of wolverine why? I own Marvel shut your face I can do what I want, 
5. Make more orgins sotries so the history of some characters are set out straight. 
6. IF SOMEONE DIES THEY STAY DEAD!

All in all this is perhaps one of the best Comic to games adaption’s I have seen. But there is a few issues I have but it is nothing massive to be honest.  My main problem lay’s in the dialog “I eat punks like that for breakfast”, I am pretty sure I have never heard Batman say that. But the overall story is awesome “Until the end”. The last battle was a little disappointing it was the easiest battle in the whole game, Also the Riddler’s challenges are easy to find if you keep on your detective! But over all this game was fantastic, I pointed out the faults that I found, now let’s move onto positives!

There were so many small nods in the game it was unreal, from Ra’s body in the morgue to Clay Face changing shape in his cell, then of course calendars man’s cell and so much more. The interview taps where a real nice extra in the game it adds a real touch of who these people are. The Abraham Arkham codes (those beetle statues investigate them) gave a great history to the place and did you solve the biggest mystery? Poison Ivy was great, Scarecrow was awesome and I loved Croc. I hated that you never really got to fight with Harley! Now the main villain Joker   from the very start walking down the hall with him I loved his dialog and actions they really caught the Joker (until the end) .

Best  part in the game for me was the gadgets and fighting system, it was really easy to pick up and master but as the game went on you had to become better and faster and combine the gadgets in with the moves along with remembering to counter an incoming attack while battranging that giant monster running towards you.  Overall I will gave this game a solid four and a half it merely loses half a point because of the end battle, the less said about that the better.    

 Manga Vs

These have been around the vine for awhile, in the form of Dragonball Z characters Vs or Naruto Characters VS. I understand that some of them seem to have good debates but at current we seem to have this entire hate towards most DBZ threads and this is what I find hard to understand, Is it a failure on some part that fans are putting to much fan boyism behind their threads. I think my favorite one was Kakashi Vs Gambit!!! Now at first this seems rather intresting until you read the actually thread where Kakashi has full powers. This may seem strange to some Comic fans who don’t know that Kakashi can make a black hole with his eye! Now to me it seems one sided this fight would have been better close combat Kakashi without any Jutsu. So is it that we and they do not have an understanding of characters full powers and that they merely place these threads without thinking! Also what about “insert name here” vs. a Universe….. These threads annoy me just a little, In my eyes no one but a cosmic level should be a threat to a universe is this just my thinking!!! But my real question is where do Manga fit in against Comic characters, is there a place for battles set in a respectable way rather then over kill and with out understanding who they are fighting (Goku Vs Superman) this just all seems to go over the top before we can get a hand on it. Myself has been in many “Debates” over this and was just wondering what is the problem in translation between Comic Vs Manga!! 

British politics seem to be all over the place at the moment, from expenses to general elections. What is it this country needs….. I find myself amazed at what is going on at number ten these days.  Now let me explain my position. I have never been a massive supporter of Gordon Brown, but I also understand he was dropped in the sh!t when he came to power and Blair left the country in a downward spiral. I do understand that we need someone in power who has a bit more life about them… No sorry someone with control over their party would be a key thing here. But then on the other side we have David Cameron!!! All I see from the leaders of my country is power struggles and scapegoats. Why can they not realise the time to fight this battle is not now. The country is not falling apart around them because of one man. In fact we are not falling apart we have lost all trust in any political party because of them and their actions. What we need right now is for them to give a damn and instead of all this in house battling and back stabbing is for ALL parties to rally behind one man, may that be Brown or someone else but they need to see the problem at hand instead of being a bunch of power hungry prats who don’t give a t@ss about what the people actually want. Because what we want is simple, we want to see our country rise from the ashes of dispute and struggle and take a note from other countries who focus on the problems and not self gain. We don’t need a general election; we just need time to fix what has happened and to do that we need to work with each other instead of against each other.

Oh and the Press for god sake stop fear mongering, if the credit crunch is not going to kill us swine flu will and now your focusing all your rage on one man trying to break his will. For f@ck sake he is are prime minster how about we give the man running our country a break and try and yet again help the state of affairs rather then add more straw to the camel’s back.  Sure report and tell the truth but the headlines I have been reading from the Guardian to The Scotsman and even to the freaking sun has just been a bunch of people looking for an excuse to add more worry to a country that is trying to mend itself.  Where is the headlines from Afgan or is that old news, is it not interesting enough to report on how the boys are and how many men have lost their lives over Swine flu which is dying out or expenses that we all know about by now. Im just sick of what we get to see and what we don’t how about you go out and get the real stories rather than attacking where we stay.
