Hmm, I guess if you're gonna ape something you can't go wrong with DKR. A grim and gritty Spidey though is..hmm.

It did indeed rock. Now all they need is J'onn to join up.

I stopped playing about 3 years ago too. It was around the time when they released new packs with improved stats that basically made older sets incompatible. That and I hardly played.

I think it's better than Watchmen in how influential it is, I mean a lot of people were influenced by Watchmen, but Crisis changed the whole company and shaped the image of the DCU for a generation. Watchmen was like a scifi classic done in comic book form, and it along with DKR really made heroes and comics in general mature. Although I like Batman: Year One better than DKR, but that's just me.

Juggernaut's not as powerful as he used to be, and even though he's pure magic I don't think Superman would have much trouble dispatching him.

My votes are for Captain Marvel: in the Justice mini Superman implies that Shazam's faster than he is, which would negate supes own speed and any range attacks. I'd also have to give it to Zod, cause he's Zod. Also Thor with centuries of fight experience, magic lightning and his magic hammer and general all around godliness gets a nod. And Silver Surfer, cause um..well I'm not sure exactly, but I imagine if he were to let loose he'd be a force to be reckoned with.

Black Bolt's awesomeness has come back to the public eye and I couldn't be more pleased. I love the Kirby space stuff, from the New Gods to the Eternals.

If he was a playable character in Ultimate Alliance, if he didn't destroy the level with his xtreme power it wouldn't have done him justice.

Red Son, Secret Identity, Death and Return of Superman. That's off the top of my head. I also like his part in the Sacrifice story arc during the Infinite Crisis. Speeding Bullets was also good.
